We love a great motor inn...

We love a great motor inn when we can find one... and this is a wonderful one. One of the cleanest, neatest properties we have stayed at. Puts a Hampton or HI Express to shame. Nice walk to the town waterfront and a couple of restaurants within minutes. Duncan Donuts right our front. The owners were very helpful and even gave us a ride to dinner after we had parked our motorcycles for the day. I am a million mile traveler and this motel gets a 5 star in value!

Great place to stay

We have stayed at Bucksport Motor Inn 3 times . It is a terrific place to stay . Extremely clean , quiet , family owned . Each time it is consistently excellent . Even though it is on Route 1 ,it is off the road so it is very quiet . All rooms have microwave , fridge, coffee maker . It is conveniently located near mid coast activities . Owners are so friendly . Very reasonable rates .

We stayed 7/30 in #8, what a charming room, however the king size bed was very uncomfortable and my husband and I had a backache the next morning. Slept terrible. Not sure if we would go back. 😯 The pillows were flat. Nice and clean, close to a lot of scenic areas.

Very nice family run place. The rooms were super clean and good sized and all updated .These folks have made this motel a labor of love. They had picnic tables and grills plus horseshoe pits, every thing you would need to unwind and relax. There were coffee makers in the rooms but dunkin donuts is right beside the motel. Plenty of restaurants with in walking distance as well as a beautiful river walk . We had a very nice stay.

Clean and affordable accommodations.

My wife and I were warmly greeted by the owner. It was early in the afternoon, and we were not sure of the check in time. Apparently as long as they have a room ready, your good. Don't expect a Hyatt or Marriott type place. It's a motor inn, and although I'm not sure how old it is, I expect it has been there for years. The owners seem to care about their business, and have kept the place up. The room we had was clean, which means a lot to my wife and myself. The bathroom appeared to have been recently remodeled, although, I wish they had put in an elongated toilet bowl. All in all we enjoyed our weekend there. There's a Dunkin Donuts right next door and a Hannaford Market across the street.
