Melissa Son 20/08/2017 18:15It was clean, reasonably priced and near where I needed to go. It wasn't the greatest place as far as amenities but got the job done. It does need updating, but wasn't unpleasant. Although, the checkout seemed shady. I would stay here again.
Clean room, great value.
SGnyc12on 03/08/2017 15:35I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. After visiting the complete dump of a motel down the road, this place was a breath of fresh air. Clean, bright lobby with friendly staff. Swimming pool that looked nice enough. But most importantly, a clean room. Comfortable bed. No strange smells. It's not a 5-star hotel, but you're not paying a 5-star price. It's a great value. Includes a continental breakfast. Would return.
A nice economic hotel
Daniel Pon 01/02/2017 00:49We paid around or less than a $100 during weekdays, but prices go up during the weekends, as in any other tourist areas. iIt is a '50s-'60s hotel, but it is well maintained. It is centraly located in Long island.t The closer you get to the Hamptons, the more expensive the hotels are, even for a run down place.
Adequate but Very Expensive
Scatterburston 03/11/2016 06:56It's a perfectly adequate hotel; the rooms are clean, the bed is minimally comfortable, everything basically worked. Breakfast is provided, but choices are a little iffy. Room amenities seem highly variable; of the three rooms we booked, two had a refrigerator and one had a microwave. In all three rooms, the lights by the bed had been unplugged and the cords hidden so this fact was not immediately apparent; if you find yourself baffled by the broken lamps, check to make sure they are plugged in. There's a pool on the property but we didn't use it (nor did we see anyone else use it). Overall, the property seemed just a tiny bit rundown but still perfectly serviceable.
All told, it's a perfectly adequate if slightly spartan motel; I'd give it 5 stars if it was $50/night and 4 stars if it was $90/night but unfortunately it was more like $130/night per room for a Sunday night in late August.
Good for the money
Buldog216on 24/10/2016 21:26After reading some of the reviews I was almost scared to even check in, but after we got there I found it to be very good for the money. The room was very clean and the hallway smelt clean( you could detect a slight odor of bleach). The bathroom looked newly remodeled. There was a mini fridge in the room, free wifi too. All in all I was very happy with our stay.
