What People are saying
ehhhh....you get what you pay for
F_Jacky2on 30/07/2017 04:21So, if you are looking for a less expensive alternative to all the over priced places because this is a college town and that Knoebles is 15 minutes away than this is ok, but you need to make a few requests.
I was very skeptical, I'm not a snob when it comes to hotels, but I'm not spending $167 a night in Bloomsberg, Pa. I found this place on Trip Advisor and Priceline had it for $77.00. When I told the woman on the phone that I saw this price, she said she would honor that price. I actually needed 2 rooms and they had them for this price. I was given a "Suite" with a King Size Bed and a room with a Queen Size Bed. The "Suite" was just a HUGE room with a stained couch, the smoke alarm hanging off the ceiling and 2 electric outlets not working. The "Suite" room was clean but had a bit of an odor, I expected that. The Bathroom was bigger than normal and had a jet tub, but we just took showers, in the dark. That's because there were 2 heavy block shower curtains and no ceiling light. The Queen room had a smaller Bathroom, but the same motif of brown and yellow. The TV's were different in each room and had decent pictures.
The girl that checked me in was really nice, she told me we were in the "New" section, which meant they were NO SMOKING rooms.
Would I stay here again, maybe not. But for the money we got 2 rooms and a good night sleep.
Very clean
Lou Mon 15/07/2017 19:38Was in town for a family wedding. My husband and I travel quite a bit and this is the CLEANEST we have ever stayed at!!! Staff was friendly and competent. Very inexpensive and close to many things. Restaurant next door is very convenient as well. Would highly recommend this comfortable little spot!!!!
Nice motel, pleasant staff, large room, clean and quiet
Cam Mon 11/07/2017 01:16We were checked in quickly by a pleasant desk clerk. She checked to see if we wanted a smoking room as that is what the reservation indicated. We didn't, so she changed our room and even upgraded us to a king bed. The room was very large, the furniture was in good condition, the bathroom was clean and bright. All of the lights worked in the room (unusual it seems) and the light switches actually worked! We were very happy with the choice and the price was very affordable compared to the previous nights stay at another chain motel with a poorer quality room.
Clean and Affordable
DonnaF513on 26/06/2017 20:50The Budge Host Patriot Inn is located just off Interstate 80. The motel is clean although smoking is allowed and the smell permeates the hallway, more so to the right going toward the restaurant; smoke free rooms are available.
There is a flat screen TV on the wall; the best part is the attached family restaurant down the hall that features such country meals like chipped beef on toast :)
The staff is very friendly and our later evening check in after a family event in Berwick was handled well.
The Patriot is a good bang for your buck and I would stay there again so I recommend this motel.
Basic but clean
