rug_txon 11/04/2017 17:12From the outside, Budget Inn looks like a typical roadside hotel, but on the inside, the rooms are large, clean, modern. Rooms have microwave and mini fridge. The night manager was easy to work with, even checking in at 2 am.
The one downside is the shower heads are rather low: I'm 5'5" and even I had to duck, much less my 6'4" companion.

Derek Hon 07/04/2017 16:08Just a nice, clean, QUIET, no frills room for 60 bucks. I've stayed at nicer places but not for the price. Stayed overnight on the way to Big Bend. If you just need a nice bed and a hot shower, I would recommend Budget Inn.

Mike Won 03/04/2017 00:50First of all, any motel with the work "Budget" as part of their name will get my attention!! As many folks know, with "budget" often comes low quality!! Not so here. We were very impressed with the quality of the room we stayed in. The king-sized bed was very comfortable and soft. The overall room décor was sufficiently modern and good quality. The rooms were amply spacious for my wife and I and our two adult Labs. The bathroom was clean and well-lit, and had a large marble countertop amply sufficient to put all of your bathroom toiletries, etc. We got in a bit late and just went to Walmart for some frozen meals which we microwaved in the room. The TV was a flat-screen high-def Vizio model. Also, furnished in the room was an iron/ironing board (which we didn't use). As a topper to our experience, the manager stopped us as we were pulling out the next morning. He saw that we were carrying two new-still-in-the-box bicycles on a rack on the back of our vehicle. Since it was starting to drizzle, he offered us several large plastic bags to slide over the bike boxes to help safeguard them from the rain. We accepted, and he brought out the bags and tape and proceeded to help me wrap up the two boxes and re-strap them back down on the hitch carrier/rack. What a great experience! We will definitely be staying at the Budget Inn anytime we are going through Fort Stockton and need a place to stay!!

edwardcN8689NAon 17/03/2017 14:55When I first saw the Budget Inn, it looked like your typical low-Budget motel. Wow, was I wrong. My room was large and modern and had all the amenities that I needed. Don't let the exterior fool you. The room was extremely clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was very modernized. If you use the refrigerator, make sure you check the temperature. I ended up with 2 frozen bottles of water LOL!
Good place to stay
300gemon 18/02/2017 02:21The rooms were clean and well cared for. They could improve the lighting for working on the computer. good value for a good nights rest. Nothing fancy about the room, but a good value for the price. The motel is easy to access from the highway well set back from the street.
