Basic but more that adequate
ianwilsonstrachanon 17/04/2017 01:08Simple budget motel in the town centre. Room was large and the bed was huge. Clean and comfortable. No frills, carpet was showing its age but perfectably clean. Microwave. Fridge and air conditioner, all working. Stafff helpful.

Vance Non 25/10/2016 15:42The hotel room was. Dirty. The sink drained slower than the mystery brown liquid dripped from the ceiling. The mold from the room still makes it hard for me to breathe. The staff was gruff and unapologetic. I'd find somewhere else.
Dumpy but clean and certainly not worth more than $30 per night.
SageWeimon 15/10/2016 03:10Stayed here because there were no hotels in the area with non-smoking rooms due to Radford University's homecoming/family weekend. This is a 1 star hotel and should be no more than $30 a night. Unfortunately, we paid $100 per night - extortion. You have to be buzzed into the tiny office. That should have been our first clue. There is nowhere to hang clothes. The furnishings, etc were flea market finds from the 1970s and I'm pretty sure the place has not had anything done to it since that era. And there was what looked like blood on the bedspread - I'm not kidding. I am astounded this place is up to building code. If my husband wasn't with me I would not have stayed in this place. This being said the place was not filthy or moldy- but very dated with banged up furnishings, peeling paint and very old carpet, etc. Apart from the blood on the bedspread (!), it was as clean as a room/bathroom that has not been updated in 3 decades can be. And the young lady that checked us in is very polite and kind. BUT seriously, it's mindnumbing that they extorted $100 per night for this dump in an unsafe area.

Rick Con 25/08/2016 03:29Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The price was great. The door lock worked fine. The Indian manager was kind and courteous. It had a refrigerator, microwave, two small dressers and a flat screen TV with about 3 dozen channels to choose from. I wouldn't have expected any better, for the price we paid. We weren't looking for a 5 star hotel room, just a clean place to crash. The only complaint I had was that the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way without forcing it. And there was no bathroom/shower vent. Big deal. I'd go back in a heart beat.
Clean and decent
Hansei Kon 02/06/2016 13:53This hotel was clean and decent with nice beds and close to Virginia Tech and Radford University. Call in advance if you will get late. Easy to access but you will need to have a car to visit the surroundings
