Good hotel , but can be better

The safari lodge has good rooms. We stayed in the room with Machaan on the top. The hotel has a swimming pool , but the same was not clean. The package included Breakfast , Lunch & Dinner , but the food was average. In the afternoon , they only serve veg in buffet , which was suprising.

This resort is close to the Khatia gate - approx 10 mins drive and should opted only when the focus is on safari. The primary reason why we chose the resort. However the resort was a put off in multiple places - geyser did not work so did the phone. The bedding was made every day but the floor had whole lot of black ants. The washroom though clean had not so clean towels. The shower had limited water flow!

Breakfast menu was extremely repetitive - Paratha, jam bread and boiled egg. Change needed if you take breakfast for 3 consecutive days.Each time we went for our meals - we had to request jar filled with water to be placed on the table. I mean this is basic stuff which should be looked at.

All in all - opt it if you are OK with the above compromises.

This is a better managed Hotel amongst the Hotels that we stayed during our trip. Water was available always, geysers were working, the toilets were clean, and each room had a T.V. The rooms were pretty clean and the beds were made every day! I think for a hotel in a very small place near the jungles, we could not have expected more. Though the food was managable, there was nothing special I can mention. The staff was fine.

Good rooms, Pleasant Experience

Me and a group of friends visited Kanha in June 2014. There wasn't much crowd at the resort (barring the first day and the last day of our stay) and we had the whole resort literally to ourselves. The manager is a very helpful guy, and so is the rest of the staff. We relished the food, and it was lip smacking. The chicken was great, and so was the paneer. Rotis were soft. The rooms were excellent, and the air conditioner worked, even though the temperatures soared outside.

The swimming pool was a bit of a let down though.

very poor staying experience, food Pathetic, swimming pool dirty and lots of turtles inside, staff specially Mr. Mayur the front desk manager most rubbish person he only know how to misbehave with there customers due to only this guy we recommend not to stay in Bundela Safari. Totally bad experience, never gonna come again.
