Perfect club for a family with children

I have expertienced already 4 different clubs in 3 years (Club Med Dom Republik, Pulia, Toscana Paradu resort), and this Bungalow club village is one of my favourite for the following reasons:
- fantastic sea : green large with few people
- relatively small and secured club where children cannot lose their way
- excellent food - fresh and green (avoiding french fied and nuggets!)
- close to San Teodoro city
- friendly people
- ratio price/ quality
The only negative is the absence of a real chief of club, close to customers,, but as all works well maybe he is having a heavy shadow activity...

Top place for a Family trip

In june the weather and the location for a trip with the family are perfect. It has all a Hotel needs and a beautiful beach with a pool for swimming and one for the toddlers. Only the food is too much and too good 😀

Beautiful San Teodoro

In early October this is a lovely quiet picturesque spot with very pleasant temperatures, although we did have some unseasonal very heavy rain at the very beginning and very end of our stay. The hotel is a short, 15 to 20 minutes, walk from the small local town of San Teodoro.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the accommodation was simple but comfortable, clean and tidy.
The food offered in the restaurant was a pretty normal continental breakfast and for lunch & dinner was a hot and cold buffet style, which was varied and very good in quality and variety.
Perhaps the only issue with meals that could be a problem in that dinner was served from 7-45 pm, which could be very late for young childeren.
Our holiday was an all inclusive one. The version of all inclusive here was not what we have ever received elsewhere. Wine is served free at lunch & dinner. However, any beers, or other drinks, except water or soft drinks, are chargeable all of the time. Coffee or tea is free at breakfast and up to 12-00 noon, but after that you have to pay for it.

Nice rooms, but noisy hotel

Positives:

-Nice bungalows with private garden
-Private beach
-Knowledgeable staff
-Close to the town with lots of nice Italian restaurants
-Good wi-fi signal at reception

Negatives:

-Loud entertainment until 11 pm-midnight so can't sleep
-All entertainment in Italian, not too many English speakers
-Too many families with kids if you want to relax, they will be crying a lot so good luck

Fantastic, friendly and a great stay

Overall this is a great hotel. Pleasant rooms, nicely kept grounds, good restaurant and choice of food and great entertainment and super helpful and friendly staff.

Room was clean and basic with a small terrace out the french doors that led onto a grassed area. Great maid service, they were in and out everyday whilst we were at breakfast mopping floor and changing towels and making beds.

Choice of food at breakfast is relatively basic, yoghurt, pastry fruit cereals. Coffee machine is not up to much. Better to get the coffee from the beach bar...it's fresh and less than 30 seconds walk away.

Lunch and dinner were very good, great choice of first and second courses. Well laid out so there is more than one plate of most things so no queues and people flow nicely around. Restaurant is spacious, we sat inside as the wasps on the terrace just interfered too much. Wine with each meal was good.

Animation staff were excellent, although the shows were in Italian...why wouldn't they be(!) and we speak very little we still enjoyed them. The team really work their socks off all day rehearsing an the shows are energetic and good fun. The Michael Jackson vs Madonna was truly top drawer stuff.

Games room/area is a little dull and feels like it needs a little love and thought. Pool area is good, pool is freshwater and cleaned twice daily, showers on the side. Beach attached to the hotel is a good option and free use of kayaks and pedaloes is a bonus.

Free wifi in reception and beach bar..if you sit outside the beach bar by the pool you can just about pick up a signal.

Overall a great choice, we had a great 10 day holiday here and would highly recommend.
