The hotel is decent but there was constructions going on all around. Very noisy! Staff is a bit laid back and the soap dispensers were not refilled the very first day of my stay. The taxi they recommend is way more expensive than the local cab.

Avoid in hot weather

Stayed here for a trade show. Only the 6th floor has air con. Hotel was unbearable on the other floors. Nice bar and breakfast, but forget sleeping there in summer. I'm sure it's lovely when cold outside. The construction noise started around 7am so helped ensure I wasn't late to the show. Nothing to do close by.

We liked the hotel. Very nice decorated and cute details. Near the Rhein river. breakfast was excellent. The room was a bit small for 3 persons and it was not so clean (behind the curtains and under the heater), a dead spider was always there. Also in the bathroom was the shampoo empty and also the tissues. I called reception and they brought it up.

We were there for 3 nights. Good beds. Good pillows. Good floor. Clean enough. Nice that there were some sweets on the pillow When we arrived. And also shampoo and soap in the bathroom. We had the shower in the bad, that was ok. The only downside is that they are renovating the whole area around the hotel. So on a weekday you need to use earplugs when you want to sleep in. And we missed some form of airco or air cooling., it can warm up really quick. there is a tram station with in 5 min walk, just ask the desk. Line 3 and 4. And breackfast was great. Enough choice for everyone. And because we stayed 3 nights the bar tender regognized us, that was lovely.

Great Hotel for the Koelnmesse

I stayed at this hotel whilst visiting a trade show at the Koelnmesse. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the Messe. The rooms are not very large but are modern and have everything you need including a mini bar. The beds are good, but a bit odd as you get a double bed with 2 single duvets, plus quite odd square pillows. The building next door was noisy but this won't be there forever so don't let it put you off. Breakfast was good with a great selection and the price is good, particularly as it is so near to the Messe.
