Facilities are excellent and clean. Really comfortable beds. We had a 2 bedroom. Surprisingly tranquil given the villas are right on the street, we had no noise issues at all. Pool and courtyard cleaned and swept everyday! Huge stone baths which aren't really practical unless you're sharing it! Attentive staff but a little lacking in consistency or routine when it came to room servicing times. Highly recommended.
The villa is quite spacious and the bath room and the big bath tub are very nice.also having your own pool ..yet the villas need renovation ..and the pool isn't cleaned on regular basis so was very dirty from the rain ..the management offered the usage of another pool in another villa yet it was unconvenient as it defies the purpose . The management are quite helpful though
We stayed in a 3 bedroom Villa ( Villa 2 ) for 4 nights in mid Nov 2016. We were a party of 6 Adults a baby and a toddler and we wanted the freedom of a villa and private pool over 3 hotel rooms. The 3 bedroom villa had 3 separate bedrooms with ensuites. Each bedroom had a queen bed, TV and plenty of towels which was a nice surprise as most places don't provide enough. 2 of the bedrooms had a huge open space in between them which contained the kitchen with a full sized fridge, plenty of plates glasses and cutlery and a couple of well padded benches where you could sit. But be aware that it is an open area so if you may be surprised by local wildlife especially at night. Nothing extreme just frogs, geckos and a few other critters may pop in to say hello. The kids loved them but I understand that some people may freak out. The 3rd bedroom was a stand alone villa about 25 metres away from the main building. We also had our own 9m x 5m pool which was way big enough to fit all of us in. The water quality was disappointing. While clean enough to swim ( no one had any skins issues or eye issues etc) it wasn't as crystal clear as it should of been. The management need to correct this as it detracts from the overall appeal of the Villa.Overall choosing the villa was the correct decision to make as it afforded us plenty of space and the ability to put the kids down to sleep while still being close around the pool. I so wanted to give bvilla + seaside a better rating but just a few issues prevented me from doing so, more on them later.
Firstly ,on the positive side, the staff and communications via email from the property was exceptional. We requested a pool fence, baby cots and strollers, all over a few emails. All correspondence was quick and positive and all our requests were ready for us when we arrived.
The transfers airport/villa/airport were included and were ready when promised. Breakfast was included which involved ordering the day before then having 2 staff enter your villa kitchen and cook it, serve it and clear up the dishes.
The breakfasts included hot selections, cereals, croissants, toast, juices, jams etc and were of a good standard and good value.
The location is brilliant. Virtually half way between Ku De Ta and Potato Head and a 5 minute walk to Eat Street, Sisterfields, Sea Circus, Grocer and Grind and La Lucciola.
Having the Villas car available for 1 way drop offs came in handy especially as it was quite wet at night so we used it to ferry us to La Lucciola one night.
We also had our rooms cleaned every day and a nightly turn down service. As noted in previous reviews the rooms and furnishings are a bit dated and need of attention and some small areas could use some tidying up to. Example, in our bedroom the toilet roll holder had been removed and replaced about 2 inches lower on the wall but the holes with wall plugs still in, were left. Just little things like that need to be sorted.
So as you can see there is a huge amount to like about the bvilla+seaside but you need to be aware of a couple of things that may be deal breakers for you or at least you can decide if you can live with with a couple of negatives.
Firstly its on a busy road so the noise may be a problem. My wife and I had the fully detached villa which was closest to the road. I needed ear plugs to deaden the noise. My wife managed ok but did note the volume of traffic and car horns throughout the night. The back 2 bedrooms were better but they weren't silent.
And secondly the main area of the villas, as well as the bedrooms, have a marble like floor which gets extremely slippery. The floor ( which is raised about 12 inches from the pool level ) is only a metre away from the pool edge so quite a bit of water can get on it when you get out and go to the kitchen or to sit on the chairs. We put down a couple of towels which seemed to work ok. We also put socks on our 18 month old which also helped. But like I said its very slippery so extreme care needs to be taken by everyone especially small kids.
So thats my review of bvilla + seaside. I would recommend it if you can live with the negatives. Its well priced and well located.
Final piece of advice, just across and down the road next to Sense Hotel is a Beer Wine and Spirits shop. The price for beer in here is much cheaper than any Mini mart you will find. I recommend you get your Bintang there.
I went to this place during New Year to visit friend.
Our breakfast will be serve in the morning by 2 staffs will cook in the kitchen.
The private pool can jump from the bedroom
Free transport to Seminyak Square
BBQ service
Lots of thing and we want to go back again
If you are looking for 'walk everywhere' location, then bvilla + Seaside ticks all the boxes. The 2 bedroom villa's are very spacious & have a large sunny private pool, with super comfy sun loungers, generous sized bedrooms & bathrooms with huge bathtubs & sufficient hot water to fill the tubs. Your choice of breakfast will be prepared for you in the privacy of your villa. Attentive butler service made our weekend break feel like a week long holiday. Being so centrally located you are close to the Seminyak 'buzz', and the restaurant directly opposite the resort has music on a Sat evening, so if you are looking for complete silence, then you would have to choose a more remote location.
