Nice arrival and bikes directed directly to garage

We were done with a 450km bike trip with 220km in continusly heavy rain.
Arriving and went directly to room (not iaw standard, first beer always in leathers) and a warm shower.
Not that spacious single-room but managed.
Luckily I am not the biggest biker around; because the shower was cramped, with worn out and leaking shower head.
The water was spraying all over and some hit me, so I managed to heat up.
Had a GT and a beer at the bar. Nice place. But as info; the lime in the GT is green not yellow and taste like a lemon.
The bed in my room was "too much" single-bed but OK.
Rooms of good noise insulation (good Norwegian standard).
Breakfast was busy but good selection.
Good waffles and coffee. Nice staff.

A nice stay

We git a nice room on the second floor for our stay in Kongsberg. The room was clean and comfortable. The dinner in the restsurant was well cooked and very tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful.
One minus our room was above the outside smoking area which meant we could smell smoke in our room when the window was open (a/c) was non existant i.e. ooen window.

Stopped here at the end of June. Opposite the railway station, literally a 40 second walk! The railway is very good, Oslo airport to Kongsberg takes around an hour and forty minutes and is real smooth with lots of scenery to gaze at from the windows.

Hotel has everything you need and rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very nice and is in a pleasant setting. Kongsberg is a quiet town but has some lovely walks and stunning scenery. Bar prices are truly eye watering - £10 for 0.4L beer @0.93-£1!!

Would definetly return to this hotel and all staff were very friendly and polite.

I went to this hotel several times for business trips.
It is well located near the train station
The rooms are large and comfortable
The breakfast is good with lot of choices.
It is possible to have dinner in the restaurant
The team is nice.

Travelling through & needed a stopover. Chose this Hotel & glad we did. Staff were helpful & nice to deal with. Large room and very clean. Finally a Hotel with tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was part of deal & thoroughly enjoyable.
Obviously been around for a while & maybe looking well worn, but still a very pleasant stop. Walk to train/shops & town...
