Athensgirl348on 16/08/2017 03:27My daughter and I had trouble finding the hostel. I just happened to ask the receptionist who had just stepped out for directions on how to get to it. It is in a very good location. I was a bit dismayed when I discovered we had to share a bathroom with another room. It didn't bother my daughter, though. The room was clean as was the bathroom. We stayed here in mid July when it was hot in Venice. Unfortunately, our room did not have air conditioning. It did have a ceiling fan which helped to cool things a little. It would have been nicer to have air conditioning. The breakfast was decent. I have never stayed in a hostel, so I really didn't know what to expect.
no hot water for 3 days
cj0nes803on 26/04/2017 20:27stayed 3 nights 23-26th April. we told hotel that our visit was for our wedding anniversary and they kindly left a bottle of cava for us on arrival. biulding is close to San Stefano square, room was spacious and adequate. first night we were a bit cold so tried to turn the radiator on but they would not work. in the morning i told reception and was told the heating automatically goes off with effect from 1st January. we were then told that there was a problem with the gas supply and that there was no hot water in the building. this lasted for the whole of our stay - no heating nor hot water in the room. a guest room in a separate building was made available to shower in. to have no heating was poor, and even though we could shower elsewhere, when you book an ensuite room the very least you expect is to have hot water.
nice stay and good hostel
421jielon 16/03/2017 14:31At the beginning it is hard to find the hostel, once you get in, actually the location is not bad. Breakfast is 7:00-8:00 simply. Room is clean and big enough for two persons. it is quite at nigh. and heating and Internet are great。

mchappydayson 04/02/2017 16:40I went to Venice in May 2015. Loved it. Great location I thought. It was hard to find, yes, but I imagine it would be like that anywhere in Venice due to the labyrinth streets. Very old outdated hotel but I thought it was great for how cheap it was. The breakfast was nice and continental. Me and my friend had a great time.
Clean room, dirty bathroom, early breakfast
keremb5on 31/01/2017 09:48The room was clean. The bathroom sink was blocked and was not cleaned the day after. Breakfast is between 7 am and 8.30. Easy to find, good location. Streets can get noisy at night. Receptionist is nice.
