Lovely little hotel

We had a lovely room on the top floor with a wooden vaulted ceiling - just what I expected in Venice - very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. We got dropped off right outside by water taxi, we were a little unsure by first impression but loved this quaint hotel with a nice continental breakfast included. Very clean and comfortable in a good location, hope we can make a return trip soon.

Great Option for a Boutique Family Run Hotel in Venice

We stayed at this charming locally run family hotel for three nights in June, with our little baby boy, and were very happy with the choice. The owner is a very friendly, helpful individual, who provided us with an excellent run down of the city and what to do and see. His staff were also outstanding, and when I needed to book an early morning water taxi, the lady walked me the 5 minutes the pick-up point to show me where the boat taxi would arrive – and booked it for me.
Our room was great (room 35 I think – next to the breakfast hall). It had enough space for us, and the shower / bathroom was great, including slippers. The A/C worked well, which is needed in Venice, and the room was nicely decked out. It had a little fridge which we used to store some snacks and our baby food.
Breakfast was excellent, and much better than we expected. The ladies who work there, once again are great – in fact, every employee we met was outstanding, which is one of the reasons we would stay again in this hotel.
The stairs are quite narrow – however for your bags, if needed, there is a basic elevator you can use (the staff will need to show you how to use it).
So all in all, a great option to consider if you are after a family business in a charming location/ building. The only downside I would note is the internet – I had a very hard time getting it to work to book some flights I needed to make.

This hotel was just right for a short stay in Venice. The San Polo area is lovely. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious, with bath robes and slippers provided. We really enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace on an evening after a busy day sightseeing.

Stayed for 4 nights, Manager very informative and welcoming, room nice, very clean, bathrobes and slippers a nice touch. Air con worked well fortunately as was very hot. Lovely breakfast, everything you could possibly want, including Prosecco 😀Was quite difficult to find as the whole of Venice is a maze!!!! Check your map on every corner. Had a fantastic time, Venice is everything I imagined and more 😘

Reasonable for the price

We didn't include breakfast in our booking. The hostess Michaela was super friendly. The room is reasonably priced. They included bathrooms and slippers- I thought that was a nice touch. 15 min to most attractions.
