Centrally located with friendly staff
phastflyeron 06/08/2017 18:42On my second trip to Cambridge, I was able to grab a room at the Hilton.
Fiona, at the front desk was able to unravel a snag in my reservations and get me a nice room.
The location is great, only a few steps to the Kings Parade, Corn Exchange, and the street market.
Great location with reasonable priced valet
Cikarenon 02/08/2017 14:17The location of the hotel was unbeatable and the valet service was very convenient and the price of 25 pounds (24 hours) was very reasonable. But it seemed like the hotel was under staff as there was always only one staff at the reception where she had to everything, check in, check out and answer calls etc. The breakfast was quite good and I like the macchiato latte.
There was only one episode where my daughter had left her pillow case that she had grown very attached to on the day of our check out. We called the hotel on the same day but we must have called 4-5 times before someone finally picked up. We asked if they could kindly find the pillow case and although the person who answered the phone promised to get back asap. We had to call back the following day to follow up where we were told nothing was found, it was of great sentimental value to my daughter and I felt the hotel didn't bother to search for it but simply to say they couldn't find it to brush us off...
Wife's Birthday Stay
Matthew Son 01/08/2017 11:28Stayed at the hotel for my wife's 31st Birthday. We chose the hotel because of it's great location being beside the Grand Arcade shopping centre and being surrounded by a large variety of restaurants and it was similar price to the other surrounding hotels in the centre. When we arrived at the desk we notified the receptionist that it was my wife's Birthday and she upgraded us from Standard room to King Suite which was already ready so we were able to go into the room at ~11am. The room was very clean with Sky TV on a large flat screen TV. Breakfast was great with plenty of staff to help out if needed. The kitchen was open and attached to the counter with the buffet so you are able to talk to chefs to request any preferences such as how you would like your eggs done. Before we departed we sat in the bar/lounge area having a drink whilst the receptionist arranged a taxi to pick us up. The bar/lounge area was very tranquil with a couple of large TVs and very comfy chairs. We will definitely being staying at this hotel again for future Cambridge shopping trips.

Excellent for a multi-day stay in Cambridge
cguttentagon 31/07/2017 13:34A comfortable, well-appointed, modern hotel well situated in Cambridge. Within easy walking distance of shopping, the historic part of the city and the river. Nice hotel bar with a better than typical bar food kitchen that typically stays open until 10:00. And a hotel breakfast worth looking forward to.
