Great staff

After checking in we discovered our room was unsatisfactory. On the way down to the lobby we met up with Gary who is the housekeeping manager. He assured us he would make everything right. He showed us three other rooms to pick from. Gary checked in with us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff was always friendly and made sure our room was neat and clean. Because of Gary and his excellent service we had a great stay.

Run down and poorly managed

Very long wait time to get. Checked in. We were first in ok e and it took the 2 families at the counter 30 minutes to get checked in. Out room still had trash in the trash can. The over all feel is a run down motel. Broken handle on microwave, rust on stove, and the fridge looked like it had been through a war. Bath room seems to have been updated recently and was nice and clean. Called the front desk and asked them we did not want house keeping the following day. They came anyway. The 3rd day, house keeping knocked on my door after 5:00 PM wanting to clean the room.
The location is nice the beach is nice. Good for families on a budget. We would tell anyone we know to stay away from this place until it is completely remodeled.

Needs a thorough cleaning

The view from the balcony was beautiful and made up for anything else going on. The furniture needed to be cleaned or updated. It made you scared to touch anything until we went out and got some Lysol wipes. (still did not sit on couch or lounge chair) Carpet needed a good cleaning also (same with the lobby). The rest of the room was nice, comfortable beds, nice kitchenette and bathroom. the staff was nice. I still can't get rid of that view of the dumping area in the parking garage of several old bed mattresses, several washing machines, dryers and other trash. It was there our entire visit. Makes you wonder about sanitation issues. Besides these issues, it was okay. The view of the ocean was worth it. Bring your own cleaning supplies.

Anniversary and business trip

Everything was okay except that there were several items that needed repairing. View from balcony was great, kitchen was small but practical--be sure to bring basic items such as paper towels, salt & pepper and aa wine cork extractor.

Nice, friendly place

Nice hotel, great staff, and great location to the main Pavilion section of Myrtle Beach. Hallways are noisy, but in summer with kids that's to be expected; otherwise, night hours were quiet. Lots of great pools, Jacuzzi's and nearby eats!
