One-night stay
C1721MJlindadon 15/06/2017 13:53Clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious with a varied choice.
Very pleasant outdoor seating for early evening drinks and conversations.
A useful stopover on our holiday.
You get what you pay for
kurt son 10/04/2017 16:53Good location from the airport. Nice walk into Bergerac city centre if you like to walk. Took us about 50 mins. Hotel is very basic but very clean. I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget.
Grubby, small & potentially dangerous
ChooksonTouron 01/03/2017 10:35A double bed against the wall, smelling of cigarette smoke with busy roads on 2 sides, this place got off to a bad start.
The breakfast was even worse. I cannot recall ever being served such bad coffee.
The paths were in a poor state with the first step on the stairs being about 4 inches lower on one side. We were amazed that we did not trip or fall.
Survival training for staying at a hotel would be a first!!
The market in budget hotels is quite extensive so try not to get caught out.. Avoid this place like the plague!!!

Ideal for a short stop over. The hotel is situated on a business park just outside of Bergerac, so not ideal for tourists, there are chain restaurants near by for a quick bite to eat.

Stephen Son 30/12/2016 18:27Let's be clear. It IS a budget hotel. It doesn't cost a lot, but then it isn't very good.
Rooms are OK. Small. Electric shutters, or manual ones. May smell of tobacco (we had two rooms - one reeked, one didn't). Shower's not too powerful. Bed OK. Bathroom OK. Wardrobe space OK. My companion said this was the worst Campanile she'd stayed in. I thought it was...well, nothing to stir enthusiasm. Breakfast was limited. View is rubbish if you're not facing reception, unless you think that an abandoned and a busy road are scenic. And no view of your car...
On the positive side, it has a kettle and coffee if you're lucky. It is near the airport and old Bergerac. Housekeeping standards seem variable, so you could be lucky. The steak restaurant over the road is great! There's an Accor Hotel over the road.
This doesn't compete with decent Travelodges, Holiday Inn Expresses or Ibis. Both seem to have better corporate standards - or maybe this is just a hotel on the edge of the world that's scheduled for a refurbishment one day. If I was returning I would prefer to stay somewhere else.
