Disappointing
on 21/08/2017 00:31Stayed for a wedding nearby, not able to check in until 2 pm, wedding was at 1 pm, so not able to access the room until very late evening. Rooms need renovation, just one grim looking towel between us. Hair dryer worked intermittently and shower turned cold half way through. Beds quite comfy but lots of noise keeping us awake. On the plus side we had a lovely breakfast at a reasonable price £4.50 each. Would probably not stay again as we found it very overpriced at £80.
Dreadful Place
John Hon 17/08/2017 19:26I wish I had checked TripAdvisor on this one first. It's hidden away behind and industrial estate on the side of a hill. Looks awful when you arrive.
Decent and helpful staff on checking in. Room was on the ground floor so dark and dreary. Looked very grubby and in need of a very good clean. The bathroom was pretty disgusting as for the toilet well, best pass on that one.
A bottle of polish was left in the room, maybe you are expected to clean the room yourself.
The bed looked ok but smelt of fabric freshener, actually I did sleep well until the shower from above started at one in the morning sounding like a waterfall and then the noise outside started up again.
The room had an awful smell about it.
Very noisy outside the room late at night with guests shouting and with cigarette butts raining down from the first floor. Strong smell of "other" types of smoke as well.
I didn't fancy dinner here so eat out. Breakfast was pre-paid which I nearly left without it but changed my mind. It was actually a pretty good cooked full English. The only decent thing about the stay.
I would never use this place again, Campanile should be ashamed of themselves for letting this place stay open.
Rubbish
paul con 08/08/2017 17:47Hairs in shower and on pillows and bed pokey rooms. TV controls dirty phone not been touched thick with dust. Shower ok and did sleep ok but overall very dirty won't stop here again would rather sleep in the van know that's nice and clean.

Sharon Hon 05/08/2017 21:19This hotel is one to avoid dirty smelly room. Other guest smoking weed it Smelt awful. Drunk violent guests keeping us away at 3 in the morning. Staff not helpful and didn't seem to care. Please avoid do not recommend.

Dannibanburyon 02/08/2017 15:16The room did have a comfy bed and was a good size, came with teas and a hairdryer which was handy as I forgot mine but it was very dull looking and smelt musky. Bathroom flooring was mouldy and the toilet didn't flush at one point. Could do with a revamp.
