Really Nice Stay!
5boysformeon 23/07/2017 13:47This motel is centrally located to your the Loire Valley wineries and Chateaux. Several restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store/shopping center adds to the great location. Hotel is simple, but very clean. Comfortable beds, good air conditioning and even a hair dryer supplied. This is a "motel" so doors open to the parking lot. The grounds are gated though at night so that added security. Helpful and friendly front desk staff. Very reasonably priced for the region. Overall a really good stay!
Conviniently located to explore some of castles
Borislav2010on 07/07/2017 16:09Very clean, kind employee, there was a restaurant in the hotel but we could not try it as there was a group and was full. Big rooms with a big bed and for our child there was an extra bed, surprisingly good bathrooms, free parking, free wifi in the room. The location is great to avoid entry in Tours where the traffic is terrible. We used the hotel for a night to explore 7-8 castles.
A very good Campanile
Maureentaon 26/04/2017 19:45Very clean, very comfortable hotel. Lovely comfy beds. White towels, plenty of soap in dispensers. Extra pillows without having to ask. Restaurant on site (didn't eat there)
Plenty of secure parking. Pleasant staff.
On the down side, we were asked to pay an extra 5 euros on top of the prepaid bill (booked directly with the Campanile site) and had to produce the booking form to 'persuade' them that, no, I did not owe them any more.
Met our expectations!
June don 22/11/2016 19:23Having stayed in Campanile hotels previously, we had a very good idea of what to expect. Therefore, my review reflects the fact that this is a 3 star hotel & is priced accordingly. I am not comparing it with 5 star hotels we have experienced! We needed a one night stop over travelling back from Carcassone & this was ideal. It was close to the motorway & the room was clean and the bed comfortable. I was particularly pleased with the bathroom & shower. Our only disappointment was that there was no hot meal available in the restaurant. Luckily we had eaten en route so the cold buffet was fine. Breakfast was great! Wouldn't want to stay here longer but for a quick stop over it was fine.
Unreliable and poor customer service
Joske Hon 05/11/2016 15:47In July 2016, we stayed in the hotel for one night and had dinner in the restaurant. On departure and after payment, we noticed that an extra dinner of 77 euros was added to our bill by mistake. The desk employee and hotel manager confirmed they made a mistake. However, although we sent many emails and submitted all our financial details as requested, the hotel did not refund the money. After two months we took the matter up with our credit card company who refunded the money to us within a week. Again we informed the hotel, but never received a reply, nor apologies. Unacceptable and very poor customer service.
