Overnight stop
bobhethon 15/07/2017 10:02We were very pleased to book a room online as it was late evening and after a long drive from Calais. The restaurant was very good and meal enjoyable, good service. The only thing I didn't care for was having the metal blinds on the room windows but you had to have them down for privacy. You felt very shut in. And the outside staircases. But all in all we had a comfortable stay.
Declined since my last visit.
Roger Hon 06/06/2017 14:00I had booked a room with a double bed but instead was given one with two singles. However, having arrived late and tired I decided not to make an issue of it.
Having stayed here numerous times over the years, the last being around two years ago, I was disappointed to find the rooms on the slightly grubby side and the cleanliness of the bathroom less than appealing.
As breakfast is not served until 7am on a weekday I was unable to try it as I needed to be on the road early.
I would only stay here again if no other choice I'm afraid.
Comfortable rest

Easy to find and very friendly and quick check in by Martin.
Room was clean and large bed very comfortable.
We did not have breakfast so can't comment on the quality.
There is a large carfore less than a mile away with a MC Donalds.
For a cheap overnight stay this ticked all the right buttons.
Welcoming staff, spacious room
Nessie Pon 21/10/2016 13:48I stayed here on the way to Calais.I was able to change my twin to a double by email two days before. Staff speak English and were charming .Room spacious, Bed comfortable. Actually had a kettle and tea/coffee supplies! The only thing wrong was that the toilet did not flush and had a crack in the pan. I could have asked for another room, but wanted to stay on the ground floor. I ate dinner in the restaurant, and it was delicious. staff took the time to explain what the hot buffet dishes were, as there was an apple festival locally. Chicken with apples, mushrooms in a cream sauce was delicious. Good choice of desserts on the buffet. Breakfast was the usual boring choice of croissants, pain au chocolate, orange juice, coffee from a machine, fruit salad and cereals. I really don't know why the French can't be a bit more adventurous with breakfasts when they have an international clientele. The price would indicate there is enough in the margins to offer some hot food. Overall, this was the most comfortable of my many stopover hotels and I would happily stay here again.

1001Martinon 25/09/2016 22:51As ever room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant was very good with a great selection for the hot buffet. Breakfast was standard with breads and yoghurt and fruits, meats and cheese. All in all very good value. Standard of Campanile hotels is always high. We had a ground floor room with large modern bathroom.
Nice
