Tired
WMH85on 01/07/2017 09:32We used this hotel as an overnight stop en route on our return from holiday. It is a very tired old motel type Campanile in a fairly shabby area. The room was clean enough and had the bonus of a kettle in the room. It was advertised as having air conditioning but this was not working and it was not possible to get air into the room satisfactorily.
We walked to the nearby centre commerciale to get something to eat so cannot comment on the restaurant.
I cannot recommend it on anything other than price.
Cheap & the receptionist was cheerful

We've always thought Campanile to be one of the more reliable budget hotels but a door jamb untidily patched with grey filler and a kettle with a broken lid & rusty looking element spelled shabby to us. We had a flat screen TV and free WIFI and the bedroom ( only one bedside table ) and bathroom were clean. The buffet choices in the restaurant weren't as varied as usual but perhaps the Campanile budget has been reduced in all of their hotels. We didn't test any more of them on this trip.
Convenient stopover on our way home!
Alison Gon 06/04/2017 11:53This hotel provides an easily accessible stopover en route for south west France. It is smaller than most hotels in this group, but was nonetheless very welcoming and the menu on the slate was varied and very satisfying. The blanquette de veau was well prepared and cooked to perfection- just perfect at the end of a long day. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spotlessly clean, as always. These stopovers are good value for money and congratulations to the staff on the warmth of their welcome and their attentive, helpful service.
Ideal stop off on our trip home.

Very easy to find with good signage. The welcome was warm and friendly.
The room was cosy and well equipped, of particular note was the extremely comfortable bed, the best hotel bed I've slept in for a long time.
Evening meal was very good and Breakfast buffet was great too with plenty of choice.
The only minor niggles were the WiFi which although we could connect to it, the server couldn't cope with the demand, and the bulbs in the bathroom lights had blown so we had to bathe in darkness (probably no bad thing really :-) )
We will be staying here again when we next visit the UK.

Maureentaon 17/11/2016 16:33The place looks (and is) one of the older Campaniles, but nevertheless it is clean and friendly.
Old style, small, but with all the normal amenities of a Campanile, including free wifi and tea and coffee making facilities in your room. And . . it actually had TWO chairs. This is almost unheard of these days in any hotel - unless you pay serious money.
It is situated just off the motorway and across the road from a large supermarket and cheap fuel.
