Beware of the thieves and total lack of service!
BertieBeurtonon 10/05/2016 12:40Firstly booking.com assured us the room could be adapted for 5 people - this was not the case - the hotel coudl not even guarantee we were covered under their insurance if we stayed.
Secondly, having squashed two children into one single bed and slept beside an incredibly noisy motorway, we were woken by the cleaner actually opeining the door!! We packed and left in rather a hurry and in so doing, left two washbags behind, one had many creams and a chanel perfume in it but more importantly it had specific medication and two pieces of antique jewelry I had inherited from my recently deceased mother. We phoned hours later to confirm that they had been left there and ask that they keep them for us for a few days. We were told NOTHING - no one knew who had cleaned that day, no one knew how to find out, no one knew if they were still on the grouns at the time, no on eknew anything! We were asked to call back tomorrow. For 5 days we called and called and everytime we were told to cal back tomorrow. Eventually I had to practically scream for a manager and when I held the line for almost 10 mintues he came to the phone, he knew nothing of what I was speaking about until the day before!! He had no way of finding out about the cleaner who had been there (who by the way I don't necessarily blame, being paid so little and knowing your working for such a rubbish establishment that doesn't even know where you are or who you are at any given time, why would you NOT take the goods if they're left in front of you! - its dishonest but its understandable) he could not even give me an undertaking to find out, he did not have anything to do with the cleaners, they were a separate company - absolutley crazy - what does that say for insurance!!!? We are left utterly without a hope, too much time had passed to have any chance of recovering our goods. I am totally disgusted at his hotel from start to finish.
no dinner on weekends
on 27/07/2015 17:20We were very happy with our stay except that breakfast was sparce - not alot of selections and no matter how early we arrived, there wasnt much left for us. We had to ask for coffee because the pots were empty. When asking for milk for coffee I was instructed to go to the cold buffet and take some from there. Then we had the surprise that there are no dinners served on the weekends. Thankfully we had a car and could go elsewhere. There is a buffalo grill next door and a McDonalds a block or so away. The rooms are very clean and the personnel are excellent and helpful. The Campanile in Every is much better and the food is better too - even on the weekends!
