Bon weekend

We had a weekend break to the area. We initially booked this hotel for price. We were pleasantly suprised by the cleaniness and size of the room.
It is only a short walk to the town centre that has a lovely mall, gardens, play aeras and cafe's.
Within half an hour drive of the various coastal towns of the Vendee.

Clean, good location, yet small rooms

The concept of adopting a bio hotel service business is great. The breakfast is not bad, yet not great. The hotel is very clean with a beautiful modern interior. The staff is friendly I must add. However, the rooms are small, no fridge in the room, and barely some space to put your bags, especially if travelling with a baby (which requires a baby bed). The price could be better given that breakfast is not included. I would recommend it for the location and if the price is comparatively better. Otherwise, I'd try another hotel next time.

Booked and paid for a twin room over the internet for 1 night.
Arrived at Gare La Roche-sur-Yon and the hotel is right there. So is the bus station, so the location is ideal for those using public transport.
This is a new modern style hotel and so access is excellent.

We were well greeted, given info about the hotel, a map and directions and advice on lunch possibilities. As it turned out the advice was excellent, so thank you.

There is a lift which is card activated and the stairs are the same.

Our allocated room was 121. A modern room overlooking the train platform. The window is openable, but there is whisper quiet air con, so when the window is closed, there is no noise from the train station. Free fast wifi, tea/coffee making, tv and comfortable beds. Plenty of room to move around, including enough space for the 2 bags we were using.
Our ensuite is a nice size with a shower stall and rain shower.

Everything works well and is very clean. The hotel espouses environmental principals, with paper cups in the room, recycling bins also in the room.

There is a bar area adjacent to Reception too.

Breakfast is held downstairs from 6:45-9:45. and costs €9;90/ person. We thought it good value and good quality. Its a continental breakfast served buffet style and there is orange juice, cereals, yogurts, ham, cheese, fresh breads and pastries, jams. A coffee machine too. It did have a bit of a cafeteria feel about it though.

La Roche-sur-Yon is a pleasant non touristy town -a good choice for 1 night to break the journey.
We recommend Hotel Campanile for a great value stay and a quiet night's sleep

Very clean and nature friendly hotel

The hotel is very cleen beds are comfortable.. rooms are not too small for catastrophic people :) but for breakfast lovers there is no eggs or bacon soo... but still have fruits yugurts jams bread.....

Great basic hotel

We stayed here in a group for a week. The rooms were clean and tidy. The breakfast area is small but plenty of choice for a continental breakfast. Free wifi during your visit. Small bar area. Only problem was next to railway station, so some noise if window open. Close to bars and restaurants and to the centre of the town.
