One night before hitting the airport
Mark Gon 07/08/2016 21:09We were at the end of a 3 1/2 week vacation and I had selected this location for a one night stay before leaving via the Marseille Airport. Nice place, while the exterior need work our room was nice, beds comfortable, no noise. Good food as well.
Dingy run down poorly maintained hotel
Stephen Pon 04/05/2016 02:50If I had paid for this I'd be very mad. I used airline miles to stay here. The rooms are smelly and poorly maintained. Towel holders had broken parts. The HVAC over the close had a hole in the ceiling with exposed drywall edges. The rooms are typical for the Campaniles I've stayed in cramped. The black out blinds were outdoor roll down shutters. The TV didn't have a single non-French station.
I didn't eat here so I can't comment.

LaChatelaine1on 24/05/2015 21:27Stayed for one night with a friend. Had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. Great value and there were superb views of the sea / lake driving to this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The best Campanile I've stayed in. Will be back. Great value.
You can choose this hotel without any hesitation
Stellafromcanadaon 19/05/2015 20:44We were on the way to the ariport next morning) but did not want to chose a hotel too close to the airport so we decided to stop in this hotel. I do not regret it. It is almost as comfortable as the "best western" that I always stayed at, at a much lesser cose. the rooms are much smaller, and the bathroom is smaller too, but it s as clean, the reception warmer and the foot OK, but you don't go there for the food, do you? Next visit to the airport I will certainly book the hotel. Only this time I will chose the back rather than the front, and will bring a mosquito repelent. This time of the year the mosquitos are everywhere.
It's a motel but it's friendly and good value
TomSleafordon 12/08/2009 15:27We stayed as a family in late July having flown into Marseille late. It is vital that you take the D5 in Martigues, if not the one way system takes you all around the houses - we ended up being taken there by the Police Municipale and they were not immediately sure where it was located. You can access the site and your room after 11:00 if you email the hotel for details and with a little fiddling around it worked.
Basically this is a motel; the rooms open directly onto an external corridor. But, the air con. works and had been left on to cool our room down, the rooms are clean if a little basic and the staff are very friendly. (Most speak English but do try out your French.)
The breakfast is good and reasonably priced. We booked ahead on the Campanile website. If you book 30 days in advance you can get a very good rate and with breakfast this all worked out at £28 per head.
So good a bolthole from Marseille, good value but slightly basic. (Also our non-smoking room smelt of smoke, though our daughters did not.)
