A bad choice
935zatvornikon 10/07/2017 17:21We chose the hotel as a stopover at a convenient location (that bit worked well) and a brand whose quality had been consistent in our past experience. In that respect, it compared poorly. The rooms were shabby and poorly maintained. Heating did not work (temperature 17 deg after a day motorcycling - we were cold). Reduced menu offered in the restaurant - we were told they "didn't have the chef that day". Staff were enthusiastic but poorly trained. Cramped accommodation.
Motorway break at Vierzon.
Mike Lon 10/07/2017 16:52This hotel is conveniently located close to a motorway exit but does not suffer noticeably from road noise. The car park is at the back and is surrounded by trees. The rooms are typical Campanile and clean and comfortable. Dinner at the adjacent restaurant is a little basic and it pays to start with the buffet as the main course is a little small. Breakfast in the same restaurant is OK but there seems to be a problem with flies which get to the food before the guests can.
Very welcoming and efficient

Our request for next door rooms had been met and our daughter who has a hip problem was given a disabled room which meant she had a walk-in shower. The rooms were very clean and all we expected. Best Campanile we have stayed at during our many trips to France.
Quiet pleasant night,s sleep and rest
HenryChickenon 28/06/2017 12:47Easily found just off the main road yet very quiet. The rooms were adequate with good air conditioning and WiFi. Clean with comfortable beds. Tea and Coffee Making facilities in the room. We booked single beds and were on the ground floor which I think housed all the accommodation. There is a Filling Station only 100 yards away so a good place to fill up on a long journey.
The breakfast was plentiful and varied (Continental) with copious amounts of good coffee. As always we find Campanile a good place to stop as it always seems to be well organised with pleasant helpful staff. Easy parking on site also.
A welcome stop over
VernonPL678on 17/05/2017 22:25Due to hold ups around Paris we had to change our stop over plans and called in here on spec. Had to pay the daily tariff which is more than booking.com! The restaurant was decent, we had good choice and decent food and wine. Quality of room is pretty basic and overall I would say it was not good value for money, but after 12 hours travelling, it was as welcome as the Ritz😊, Staff were very pleasant and despite the language barrier we communicated well. I have stayed in these hotels a number of times and they are all pretty consistent so you know what to expect, booking in advance will save money.
