My favorite hotel and good view of roof top bath !
pooky503ison 13/11/2016 13:39I always stay in this hotel, when I go to around Tateshina highland area.
The style is a typical Japanese hotel, compact and functional facility in the room.
The highlight of this hotel is a good view of roof top bath.
I recommend the sunrise time when you take a this bath.
You can enjoy excellent sun light and I never have taken such morning bath like that.
Of course, night time is also beautiful. A ray of light along the highway is impressive.
Please be careful. This bath is not a hot spring !
Finally, please enjoy a Japanese style breakfast. It's very delicious.
Don’t worry, there also is bread, coffee, western style dishes.
This hotel is definitely recommended,
if you don’t look forward to Japanese style hot spring hotel (Ryokan in Japanese)
Convenient Hotel
Gregory Eon 23/10/2015 08:36I stayed here on a four night business trip. I like rooms with air conditioning, which this hotel doesn't have in October. Easy access to the expressway. Breakfast is your typical Japanese hotel breakfast, with very few western food item. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance for dinner.
Clean, nice mattress, great hot spring on the roof...stars.
Canmaninjapanon 28/11/2014 15:24My wife and I stayed at the Candeo Hotel in Chino, Nagano Prefecture in November. It was easy to find (tallest building around!), just off the Chuo Expressway, and had plenty of parking. Our room was the smallest in the hotel, but also the cheapest. Our room had a curtain around the toilet, not a door, but for the price, it was worth it. I went up to the 12th floor and used the rather large hot spring, both indoor and outdoor. The view is nice from up there...mountains in the background. The stars were nice, too. The mattress was super-comfortable as it was a Simmons. The staff was very friendly. We experienced quite an earthquake at 10:06 pm, but, although the building was a rockin', it felt quite safe. Everything is bilingual and the staff will try their best to speak English.
One discomfort was the fact that there was only one elevator and no stairs to be used. We had to wait a few minutes now and again, but no real problem.
We didn't opt for the buffet breakfast, but it looked like good value for the money.
Definitely worth the price for under 10,000 yen. Enjoy!
