Trent Bon 04/08/2017 00:28Candlewood Suites had everything that I needed from the clean, recently remodeled and upgraded room to a great gym and well stocked pantry that contains many basic items to the free DVD rentals and the free laundry equipment usage. There is also a lending closet with items for longer stays and Candlewood Suites is staffed with very friendly and accommodating people! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Clean, Friendly, Good Price
cldwntron 24/06/2017 05:15Easy drive to airport as well as downtown Salt Lake City. The unit was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful, which always makes a stay nicer. Rooms are updated and pillows comfy! The only complaint is the kitchen was minimally stocked - had to wash dishes after every meal or wouldn't have any clean for next time. No free breakfast, but a good value for the money - would stay again.
Great Experience Overall
rnfnron 05/06/2017 20:46For an extended stay hotel, this place was great. Every staff member was friendly, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room. If you don't have high expectations (keep in mind this isn't a Four Seasons) you will be pleasantly surprised. Free laundry, free barbecue grills, good sized movie rental selection, comfortable beds, and a decently sized fitness center as well. No breakfast, but I'm assuming that's because they have full size refrigerators and stove's in every room. They're in the process of renovating all of the rooms too. My one and only complaint is the cable TV; maybe 40 channels which included HBO, but lacked some of the standard channels. I'd definitely stay here again.
Pleasantly surprised

Nice details like microwave popcorn in the rooms and and rentable DVD's, etc. Good water pressure in the shower but I was disappointed that our tub drain didn't close because I wanted to take a bath. Not a huge deal though. Relatively quiet and very reasonably priced. I think this may be our SLC go-to from now on.

michael zon 29/03/2017 18:14I've traveled a lot and I've never smelled a place that smelled so terrible. Each hallway and room has it's own distinct terrible smell, which the staff has tried to cover up with cinnamon spray, only to make it worse. When I turned the heater on in the room it smelled like there was a dead animal caught inside so I turned it off. The rooms are nice and have all the accessories to cook. The laundry facilities are free. The fat blonde at the front desk is a B#####. I asked to go to the hotel and she told me you have to arrange it 2 hrs ahead of time with NO exceptions. Costumer services is not this hotel's strong point. The area nearby has nothing to offer other than proximity to the airport. I would recommend to run from this place!
