kmurrell96on 14/06/2017 14:31The hotel was very clean,the staff was friendly and helpful,the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel . It was centrally located on our way to the gulf.we always stay here on our way of we can get a room. I definitely recommend making a reservation because it usually fills up.
Great service
savy1985on 01/06/2017 14:42Great hotel! Friendly staff and very clean, well maintained rooms. The free guest laundry was a plus especially for us. We did not expect to stay the night but because of a rain delay our tournament was delayed another day so the laundry services really helped! I had to find a hotel quickly and Candlewood was the next closest hotel to the baseball field. They were limited on rooms but they accommodated us. I would definitely stay again!
convenient and pet friendly
joy Lon 15/05/2017 19:20we just spent a week and enjoyed our stay. can't beat the location right off 35. and our 2 boxers were welcome. (the dog walking area is to the side of the building, so not right on the road). the gym is well equipped and includes free weights. the pantry provides small items you may have forgotten, drinks, snacks, some fruit, yoghurt, even ice cream, as well as crock pots, blenders, and games.
it is an older hotel, but well maintained and well staffed. everyone was friendly and courteous. there's security, so i felt safe out with the dogs before dawn.
the one caveat i'd provide is no king size beds, so we were pretty snug with all four of us in one double bed.
nevertheless, i would recommend this location, especially for those traveling with pets.
Older facility
rkocheson 17/04/2017 00:37This really seems like an older facility that could definitely use some work. They did have a great pantry though with lots of items. You keep up with your own tab and turn it in to be added to your bill. Staff was extremely courteous. I was glad to get a room, and at a reasonable price, when my usual hotel in Austin was booked. First experience with this location and with Candlewood but I'd go back.
Excellent Customer Service
Chris Jon 06/04/2017 18:43Great service by the staff. We were able to check in early when we arrived. The room was nice and cool when we entered.
Even better, we left some clothes in the room and Diana packaged it up and sent it to us. Saved us an extra 6 hours of driving. Will return in the future.
