Room 403. Whole building needs an upgrade.
vzescapeon 17/07/2017 04:57We stayed 4 nights. The hotel is in a really nice, safe location. Next to a Wegmans in a quaint outdoor shopping area with the huge Burlington mall and I-93 only a few blocks away. The entrance is in the back and has new construction next door so it's easy to miss because the sign is small. There were ample parking spots. Staff and housekeeping were nice and helpful. Room 403 was clean and very far from the elevators, as we had requested. Fresh towels were supplied when we asked. Queen bed and pillows were comfortable so we slept well in the bedroom suite. We didn't use the fitness room but it had some good equipment. We also didn't use the free laundry machines. The complaints we had: the common area was too small and the 4 of us were cramped, only 2 chairs at the table for eating so the others had to sit on couch to eat. The stove had 2 small burners making it hard to cook the meals we planned. One of the towel hooks fell off the bathroom wall. And the biggest problem was the very loud rumbling from the AC unit, which kept the room nice and cool, but was louder than the TV so we had to turn it off when we were watching TV or sleeping. The kids were not that comfortable in the pullout sofa and it was 1ft from the AC. Also the AC was leaking so much it saturated several square feet of the carpet which we did not notice until we were packing to leave and the repair man came by to fix it. I would not stay at this location again unless they make a new building, as this one is run down. It served our needs but did not make our vacation special, like my family's favorite, Holiday Inn. I gave 3 stars only because we slept well.
Nice rooms at the hotel

The one stay we had their, the pipes burst after snow storm, but they were very accommodating, took care of us all, and we still had a great stay. Its in a nice area close to shops and food. Little harder to find entrance having never been there as opposed to our normal place, but once found, its easy and a nice place.
Nice hotel with a few issues....
krissy5872on 11/07/2017 17:07Stayed here for work one night recently, newer hotel it seems, nicely appointed rooms and decor. Very convenient location to my office and lots to do close by, shops and restaurants. That being said, one of the important things to me in a hotel is cleanliness. The breakfast area when I was there was a MESS. The floor was sticky everywhere I walked, the garbage cans were overflowing, tables weren't being wiped down at all between uses....seems maybe they're understaffed in that area? Also, no hot water the morning I was there getting ready for work and when I went to the front desk to ask about it (after "showering" with a cold washcloth while standing by the sink), there was a sign on the desk saying they would be back soon, they were off helping another guest. I waited about 10 minutes before someone came back, so maybe they're just short staffed all around? Not sure, maybe it was just an off day but customer experience needs some work here, rooms are very nice and comfortable though. I would try it again.
Good place, great location & rates!
Heather Aon 08/07/2017 18:39My husband and I stayed 3 nights for a soccer tournament. It was perfect. Large room with kitchenette, clean, comfortable. Not out-dated but not new; it was good. Also found it very quiet. Location is perfect! Across from the Burlington Mall (must visit the new Duluth Trading store!), tons of restaurants, etc. Offered free wifi as well. Would definitely stay again. Great area. Only "con" would be the parking lot was kind of sketchy. There was an abandoned car there the whole time with tons of trash.
OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
JohannSProsperon 29/05/2017 22:26I literally booked a room at this hotel last minute due to poor planning and traveling all over New England on my way back to Boston for a wedding. Most places don't allow early check in without charging a full night. I guess I was super lucky OR Candlewood suites really cared about my current situation from driving all night and took me in at 8:30am with only a one night booking. The front desk employees were so nice, understanding, and compassionate. I normally don't write reviews, but I found this to really be an exceptional way of taking care of your guests! The room was homey! Very clean and spacious! Beds are extremely comfortable with premium linens! If you book here you WILL NOT be disappointed. We also got a late checkout by 1pm at no additional charge! Thank you Candlewood suites for taking care of myself and my crew! Definitely will be staying with you all again!
