A nice place to stay for a week

Candlewood suites offers a decent room, with kitchens nice amenities that can be found across all their properties. This is the 3rd property I've stayed at, and the first with a pool and jacuzzi . The rooms are always clean This place had a nice DVD collection due to the managers diligence. The cupboard prices were above average/very high ( make sure you bring your own ) compared to the other properties. I inquired about this fact only to have a hotel employee give me a rude answer and did not want a reply back from me.
Internet has been very poor at other locations, it worked well here. manager said they were about to upgrade change service provider next week
I did not pay full rate. for this stay of 3 nights. Used my points from business travel.
No ice other than what your refrigerator can make during your stay. No ice can be gotten from the front desk either.
Did not offer mid day cookies as other places did?
No breakfast offered. If it keeps the prices low I am fine with that

cape Girardeau candlewood is a very enjoyable place to stay . The staff is top notch.The best that i have seen any where. The rooms were clean and comfortable.I felt right at home.Five star all day.Location is great easy on and off the highway .Just at the edge of town yet it is close to everything.

Nice Hotel

Stayed here one night with my significant other in March 2017. The rooms were very nice, kitchenette which included large fridge, microwave, sink, full set of dishes. Large desk for working and all around nice rooms. They did not offer a breakfast in the morning, however, there was a store in the hotel. Hotel has a pool, however, I did not use it. Tried using the work out room... management please take a look at the equipment. The bike isn't working and the two treadmills had a loose track so it was almost impossible to walk on, definitely couldn't run. The hotel was just off the exit and not far from other amenities.

not a great stay

My boyfriend was there in the area for work. We got to the hotel a half hour to check in time and our room wasn't ready. He had to cancel his work and come back the following week. He made a reservation after he check requesting a suite and they said no problem. Came back the next week showed up about a hour to a hour and half early and they didn't have a room. They asked us to come back later and we could leave or stuff because we already had it on the cart. They even said they try to call him to tell him not to show up early. When we check in finally they didn't put us in a suite. I never ever had a hotel call us and tell us not to show up early.
To the room, when I open the dishwasher, it had a dirty water still left in it and look gross. I almost toss my cookies. The bed was unconformable. Woke up with sore stiff backs. The hotel has no control over this but one channel has two different stations on it.
So you got to watch MeTv and another station. The fitness equipment needs replacing. The treadmills would sloe down on their own and the bike didn't work to good.

We always stay at the Candlewood. It was a nice stay. Everyone was friendly. We will be back. The only thing that I didn't care for is, if you wanted your room cleaned it was an extra $15. Other than that excellent stay.
