Our experience has been nothing but great when staying at Candlewood Suites and recommend for long or short stays. Thanks for enhancing our visit to the Corning Glass Museum.

David Don 09/02/2017 18:18Absolutely wonderful hotel. Karen at the front desk was very nice and very professional. The room was very clean n comfortable. Fitness room has everything you need. I got free dinner!!! Pulled pork sandwiches were AMAZING! Thanks again :) Free laundry! Which I've never seen at any hotel and in my profession I stay at alot of them. Close to the mall, outback steakhouse. All in all a great home away from home. If circumstances ever let me come back to this area candlewood suites will be my only choice of hotels to stay at. Thanks for the wonderful stay :)

hotrod53on 12/12/2016 23:58I just returned from my visit to Candlewood Suites in Horseheads, I was pleasantly surprised.
The checkin staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and they had everything that we needed. I have to say, I've paid a lot more and gotten less for my money elsewhere.
As odd as this sounds, the thing that was most satisfying to me was the heating/cooling system. I've had some real horror stories regarding these "window shaker" type systems. Some are noisy, make vibrations, and sometimes keeps you awake. I'm in the HVAC industry, and I've got to say, that Amanda unit was the quietest, and smoothest unit I've come across.
I'd stay at this property when in the area again, no question.
Good long term stay location
James Pon 23/11/2016 16:26I've stayed at this location several times over the past few years (mainly to attend events in Watkins Glen), and it has been a good place. Generally it's quiet if there's no race event at Watkins Glen (few kids as families tend to stay elsewhere) and the spacious room with kitchenette feels a bit more like an apartment than a hotel room. The rooms have always been clean and prepared properly at check in, and staff courteous and helpful.
