Great last minute stay
abarringon 13/04/2017 15:31I was very pleased with staying at this property as a last minute stop in Ft. Stockton. The front desk staff that checked me in (Eva) was personable, friendly and efficient. The room was very comfortable and clean along with the overall property.
Great Place to Stay
Sharryn Jon 18/03/2017 21:31Great place to stay on our travels thru Texas. Convenient location right off the interstate. Comfortable, clean room with really nice towels. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The only thing that seemed out of place in a Candlewood Suites room was the recliner chair with pealing leather on the headrest area.
Not so impressed
bgcovingtonon 15/03/2017 01:34Our room was clean but the recliner was torn in several places, no ice in the freezer, no breakfast like we were told, carpet was torn. Easy access and is near several restaurants and a Walmart. Will not stay there again.

lyssak11on 24/02/2017 05:55I have been staying in this hotel for a few weeks due to a project for my work. From the minute I stepped up to the front desk to check in the first time, I was treated like a long lost friend. The employees at this hotel are so nice and so helpful and it really makes working away from home a lot easier. They go out of their way to accommodate my needs when necessary and they really seem to care about the comfort of their guests. It seems like management here must treat their employees very well, because they all seem to really enjoy their jobs.
The accommodations in this hotel are very much like every Candlewood Suites, and I like that because I know what to expect. I am actually hoping I can work in Fort Stockton more often because this is a GREAT place to stay.

Candlewood is nice for cooking your own meals!
lampliter403on 26/01/2017 20:16This is a nice, fairly roomy, place to stay, if you want to cook your own meals and not have to pay to eat in restaurants. Walmart is nearby for groceries.
The staff is very friendly and helpful! They have free movies available and DVD players in the rooms.
Breakfast is pretty much oatmeal if you want to eat free. I think they have microwave burritos and such for sale, but the best thing is to do your own breakfast in your room.
It is a pet friendly place and it's not fancy, but it is comfortable with nice kitchens in the rooms.
