We had a long trip moving from Seattle, WA to Laurens, SC and the house closing was delay so we stayed here and believe me the entire staff was excellent..Mark, Sandra, Carolyn, Mia, Cyndi, Jason well everyone made us feel so welcome and will always thank them to made it easy specially with my dog.

We loved it!

We were welcomed by Carolyn at the front desk, and she was very pleasant and informative. The hotel was immaculate, and we were very impressed at the modern decor and comfort of the room. We loved having a recliner in the room, and the long desktop made it easy to use the laptop and spread out my paperwork. We liked having USB ports at the base of the lamps, too. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very modern and clean. I loved the shower (nice, strong stream of water). We were on the second floor on the end next to Target, and it was very quiet. I was happy to see a little "store" in the lobby where I could purchase something I might have forgotten or buy small food items. There was also a lending area where we could borrow movies or small appliances. We also brought our little dog with us, and she was welcomed by Carolyn (front desk) and very happy staying there with us. We would definitely stay there again.

Even though I only stayed one night it was worth it. The people at the front desk was very welcoming and they greet you with a smile. The room was very clean. Thank you for the short stay. I will be back soon!!!!

Great place to stay with pets.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice pet friendly room, clean and comfortable bed. A little snack shop on site with some tasty coffee. They also have DVD's to borrow as well. Overall, reasonably priced especially for pet accommodations.

Unexpected for extended stay...

This hotel is unexpectedly good for extended stay. I'm here along with my three cats because there was a fire in my home. Because of the uncertain timeline of the repairs my insurance company asked me to stay in extended stay until a better understanding of the situation could be determined. My first reaction to extended stay was "NO!" But I've been pleasantly surprised. I have been at this hotel for almost a month. I will probably be here another two months because now that I've unpacked I have no desire to move elsewhere.

The hotel staff is very nice and I know most of the staff members by name and they know me. There is some slight turnover at the front desk but I'm sure it's nothing that's not unusual for any hotel. The housekeeping staff is very nice and they keep the hotel very clean. The management staff is nice and friendly as well and very helpful.

The hotel has a location which can be the best location in Greenville or the absolute worst depending on what time of day it is. It is located not far from the interstate and being off Woodruff Road almost everything is close by. The Haywood Mall is just a few miles away and all of Greenville's shopping and major restaurants are located on Woodruff Road. Wal-Mart is a few miles away and you can actually walk from the hotel to the Target next door. Beware that the traffic on Woodruff Road between 7-9:30 a.m., 11:30 - 2 p.m., and 5:30 - 7 p.m. is a traffic snarl from hell.

There are a few complaints in previous reviews about this hotel and you have to take into consideration what this place is - extended stay. Your room is not going to be cleaned every day. Your room will be cleaned once per week but you can exchange your linens at any time. I prefer to wash my own sheets and towels in the free laundry room because I can use detergent and softener that is familiar to home. Someone complained in a previous review that he or she **had** to clean their own bathroom. Get real. If you are staying here long term you should clean your own bathroom just as you would at home. Or as I hope you would. If you have weekly or monthly maid service at home, are you going to live like a slob between visits? I would hope not. Another reviewer said he or she traveled with their grandchildren and didn't know how to close the curtains because "you have to close them from behind". Ummm... You pull a stick and the curtain closes. I don't understand how that process could ever be confusing.

There are some cons to staying here - everything can't be perfect. If you are on a lower floor, you will hear the people above you and it is going to be incredibly loud if they are stompers. If you are on the side of the hotel facing the industrial building next door you will hear trucks backing up and trailers being loaded. This usually only happens during customary business hours but there have been times it happened at 4 a.m. The wi-fi is incredibly slow and unreliable. It is not fast enough and will not maintain a connection long enough to watch or stream any kind of movie or TV show without buffering. The "kitchen" is a full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and built in hot plate. I bought a $40 convection toaster oven to use while I'm here so that I can "bake" anything that I don't want to microwave. The nightly rates do seem a little high without it being a full service hotel - but I'm sure most of the people staying here are paying corporate rates and don't pay published rates.

You'll be fine staying here if you don't have any unrealistic expectations. You'll be in a much better situation than most extended stays, you'll have many more amenities, and be in a better part of town. If you want daily room cleaning and need coddling to get through life - this may not be the place for you.
