Very nice place, would stay again
Linda Pon 20/08/2017 21:39My husband and I stayed two nights here while we visited Worlds of Fun. The hotel was super clean and the staff were kind and helpful. Lynette Griddine checked us in and couldn't have been more helpful to us, especially as our first room didn't lock properly. We went back to the front desk and within 5 minutes, Lynette had us checked into another room on the same floor. We would definitely recommend this place to others, especially if they want to be close to Worlds of Fun or are looking for a quiet, clean place to stay.
Candlewood Suites - convenient location!!
coburnellion 15/05/2017 22:39This hotel had very friendly and helpful staff, with one exception. Because I paid 100% in advance, the desk clerk could not satisfy my issue - I called IHG customer service after returning home and the gentleman continued to work with me until we reached a a fair and amicable solution. The location is awesome, across I-435 from Worlds of Fun, the place is very clean,& the pool was extremely nice - a great stay :)
Terrible
Richard Don 15/05/2017 21:17The entire place smells like cigarettes staff is rude to customers. Other people were complaining about not getting room service for over a week.
Looked like somebody laid in one of the beds just on top of the blankets and housekeeping did not change the linens glad I had the other bed but still made me nervous.
Will definitely not being staying here again if I can help it.
Quick overnight stay
IowaUSMCon 03/05/2017 19:09Used a reward night to stay before an early flight the next morning. Checkin was uneventful and the room was IHG standard room. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The free popcorn was tasty and greatly appreciated.
Pretty good, wish they had a breakfast
Anne Son 09/04/2017 06:27We were in town for a funeral, only stayed one night. Wish there had been a continental breakfast. You could buy stuff to prepare food, but since we were there one night we just went to Cracker Barrel. Furniture in room was pretty worn but everything else was clean and well maintained. Lots of things in lobby you could borrow while there(games, videos, even crutches)
