Pleasantly surprised with hotel
Skeeter013on 12/08/2017 03:09I typically stay at another hotel chain when traveling but there wasn't one located nearby. We thought the Candlewood looked like the best option based on the other local hotels. Overall, we were impressed by the hotel. The staff at the front desk were friendly and informative. Our room was large and clean. We opted for the 1 bedroom suite. It consisted of a single bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room. There was also a kitchenette with a fridge, stove and microwave. My wife loved the free washers and dryers located near the lobby. The front desk also has a library of DVDs that they loan out. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
They Were Waiting For Us!
Edwin Con 10/07/2017 21:14Came Here to pick up my daughter from College nearby, the receptionist was waiting for our arrival and had our family name on a board with "Welcome" and offered us refreshments and snacks, the parking is large and thankful for that because I had trailer hitch and I didn't feel bad to take up 2 parking spots as there were other trailers in the large parking lot in rear, found our room more than comfortable and accommodating to my family and I and would and will be staying here in the near future! I had no problems with my stay.

Monica Don 08/07/2017 13:14We booked this hotel last minute for a Saturday night stay over fourth of July weekend. It was a great value compared to the limited options that remained in Watertown near Salmon Run mall which is 15 minutes away.There is a Walmart Supercenter and some fast food options in walking distsnce right next door. Otherwise, the surrounding area is rural.The hotel is an extended stay with a full kitchen and everything you need for preparing and cleaning up after you have made your own meal. It does not offer a "free" breakfast. Free coffee is in the lobby area.

Sara Yon 08/07/2017 02:03Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty! Curtains are soiled. Garbage under the beds. Chair is full of food and whatever else. Table had food and grime. I have two toddlers and feel like I need to give them a bath in bleach. No more rooms available so we get extra points . Yay. Apparently the housekeeping supervisor is on vacation so the housekeepers must be slacking. That's the answer I got from the woman at the front desk. Might as well flush the $100/per night down the toilet.
Great hotel
Jonathan Mon 17/06/2017 13:38I stayed here for two weeks & had zero problems. My co-worker's A/C stopped working & the hotel had replaced it within the hour! They're very professional & very responsive.
Their exercise room is top-notch as hotel facilities go. Two treadmills, an elliptical, a stationary bike, free weights, a weight machine, yoga balls & etc: all in excellent condition.
The hotel offers a free laundry facility with several machines!
They clearly put guests in a more primary position than other hotels in which I've stayed long-term.
