Best Cornbeef and Cabbage
Judi Son 23/05/2017 11:35Was looking for the traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner and found the best I have ever had at the Claddagh. Service was excellent. Patrons and staff were very friendly. Music was perfect for St. Patty's Day.
BE REALISTIC * GOOD RUSTIC BED AND BREAKFAST
Melissa Mon 16/02/2017 03:18This is a rustic style Bed and Breakfast. NOT a posh Cape Cod crowd pleaser for $300 a night. Let me give you some background about MYSELF first. YES we usually do top notch restaurants, hotels and resorts by traveling via Mercedes to an airport. This was a DIFFERENT trip all together. We took a road trip via motorcycle from NYC to Cape Cod. We drove WATERVIEW roads only (yes a very long non-direct route). We drove 100 miles then stayed 2 days, and so on. The CLADDAGH INN was one of our stops. It is a SIMPLE Bed and Breakfast. Casual atmosphere. Clean, dated and full of gypsy style charm. You enter on the main floor/living room/dining area. Guest rooms are upstairs. They are SMALL but cozy and what you need to sleep and relax in. Perfect for a couple. Vacation is to go out an do things, right? The TV was very dated, but we were so tired, we didn't care. We spent most time either at the Tiki Bar or in the basement a full bar! Karaoke night was a blast with a local band. Have plenty of drinks and no worry driving, just walk upstairs to your room. The pool was perfect to cool off. Breakfast was good, lunch had the best quahog! Happy hour was FABULOUS. For what I expected, it was perfect. I wish I had taken photos. We had nothing but GOOD memories.
A Rose by another name still stinks
TugTerryon 27/12/2016 17:37We stayed at this B and B when it was called Fiddler's Green, it was an awful place. I see they changed the name but reading the recent reviews it is still an awful place to stay. I'm surprised they are still in business. Stay somewhere else!
They have basically stolen money from me
JetSetInStyleon 20/09/2013 06:43Over this summer, my girlfriend and I booked a room for two nights over the holiday weekend. While on our way to the Inn we received a call from the owner who informed us that our room had been double booked due to complications with hotels.com. We frantically scrambled to find another Inn (we did, we got lucky). We were told we would be issued a refund. Attempting to collect the refund, we were told to contact hotels.com. When we did, we were informed that the Claddagh would not agree that a refund was due to us. When we then attempted (many times) to resolve this issue with the owner, she outright lied to us, claiming that the room was never double booked and would not issue a refund. Furthermore, during every interaction over the phone, the owners were beyond terrible to deal with and they hung up on us multiple times. Hotels.com has been equally ineffective in helping us. I. Am. Livid.
This was the worst place we have ever stayed at! It was almost like the Bates motel.
Manj977on 03/09/2013 01:53Check in was weird. No front desk, keys were in the door in the room. No shower head in the shower, no sound on tv, no smoke detector in room, no free breakfast, no wi-fi. Room had ac unit in window& we had to stuff paper towels in the gaps to prevent anything from crawling in! Never saw anyone from management except maintenance worker and cook -once. Pool was closed per the board of health dept. Very disappointing and would not recommend this place to anyone. Mr & Mrs M.
