Stunning location and friendly staff
Alicja Kon 02/11/2016 21:24The hotel enjoys the most amazing view and friendly atmosphere! Rooms are simple, with a nice Greek touch. Huge window offers a breath-taking sea view. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast by a table outside at the seafront with freshly-squeezed orange juice (it was obviously the season for oranges in April as the trees were full of ripe oranges!) and sunshine, watching the locals on their way to the church next door. The owners were super friendly. Excellent location to visit the ancient amphitheatre of Epidavros early morning and escape the crowds.
A Perfect Place to Practice Yoga and Meditation
Margaret Son 19/10/2016 15:25We spent a glorious week at Mike's with a yoga/meditation group. Our rooms overlooked the harbor and were scrupulously clean and comfortable. In addition, we were treated to a glorious sunrise each morning, and a romantic moonrise each evening. Meals were fresh and generous, pleasing to all palates. The staff were gracious and happy to satisfy our rooming and dining needs. While its location right on the water could be noisy on some nights, it was more than balanced by easy access to swimming, paddle boarding and snorkel trips. As well, trips to sights such as the amphitheater of Epidaurus, the ancient ruins of Mycenae, and the fortress town of Napfio were an easy hour away.
Enjoyed my stay immensely
Amy Kon 12/10/2016 22:14We were here for a week long yoga retreat and had a wonderful time. The setting was picturesque-nestled in the fishing village. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff really nice and pleasant. Fresh squeezed orange every morning was a real treat. Meals were healthy and fresh. I'm not much of a party girl these days so if you are like me bring earplugs because the dining area is quite lively with whoops of laughter into the night!
Amazing views in a place that feels like home
Jennykojon 01/10/2016 16:25I was here on a yoga retreat. The location is amazing, right by the sea. The hotel is family run and it makes you feel like you're a guest in someone's home - you can watch the grandmother doing the ironing, the daughters washing the dishes, the friendly waiters. This is definitely not a luxury hotel - don't expect your towels or sheets to get changed more than once every few days - but the food is excellent and what they lack in luxury they make up for in enthusiasm.
Second home by the sea
Andrew Non 10/09/2016 20:16The family who run the hotel are very nice and if you are prepared to 'go with the flow' when things don't go quite according to plan you will be rewarded by kindness and they will go out of their way to accommodate you in whatever you ask. It is like going to stay with Greek friends who have a great house and cook terrific food.
The restaurant is right on the quayside and the views from the front rooms are spectacular. Recommended for family trips, diving with a full diving school next door or just enjoying the special atmosphere of this magical little town. Prices are very reasonable and rooms are plain but functional with good A/C.
