Calm hotel and friendly service

Very nice and helpfull host.
We stayed in a bedroom with one kingsized bed and one smaller one. Shower and Toilet were right next to the room.
Worst B&B ever in Scotland

The water taps was working erratic
The shower had warm water and even on the highest cold water
Room was not kept well bad condition
Only positive thing was the helpful owner, the rest was all minuses
Could not fault this guest hous
stanleydavid68on 25/04/2017 15:49Stayed here for three nights, it was clean and within walking distance of Edinburgh. Bus stop about 5 minute walk away. Basic but well worth the money. The owner was brilliant, could not do enough for us. Thank you Ali.
Very nice place to stay
on 26/09/2016 00:13my partner and I have been for 5 nights and positively highlight the treatment of owners, very friendly and willing to resolve all our doubts. The room is old and small, but clean enough and it has TV, hairdryer, towels, and shampoo... and the most important, it has a private bathroom. Yoy can rest very well, no noises are heard and is a very quiet neighborhood. A few meters there are bus stops, restaurants and shops. Is 30 minutes from the Royal Mile walking straight the same street. Good stay in relation to the price because Edinburgh has very expensive accommodations.
A very small bed that wasn't comfortable
graemeb69on 30/08/2016 18:44Stayed for 3 nights at the end of the Fringe Festival. Guesthouse was clean, tidy but quite small. Bed was not a full size double bed which was a little ddisappointing. Owner was friendly enough and explained this room was advertised as being small, something I failed to see anywhere on the site we used.
