English speaking staff, helpful concierge that got us a great discounted deal on three tours in 8 hrs with an English speaking taxi driver. Location is great with boutique cafes (Aussie style) like Fika Fika at walking distance. MRT (highly recommended) at walking distance too. Airport transfers in a Mercedes was awesome. Only recommendation would be too improve the quality of breakfast buffet.
Very good value for money
Timo Won 02/04/2017 09:39Very good choice for a long weekend stay in Taipei. Staff is very helpful, friendly and efficient. Rooms are large with big bathroom (seperate shower and bathtub) and very clean. Though facing a street, room was reasonable quiet. Air con on the other hand was a bit noisy for my taste. Breakfast nothing special, but ok. Location is good and within walking distance of two metro stations. If you are in Taipei for a prolonged weekend this is definitely an option to consider.
Very Comfortable, Very Economical
JenBarnetton 25/03/2017 18:35If you're the type of traveller who swoons at the sight of deep soaking tub and an oversized bed, you'll be happy at Capital Hotel.
Our room was clean and super comfortable (modern furnishings, nothing too fancy), but most importantly... the bath tub!
For an admittedly picky Westerner, breakfast was weird, not gonna lie, but you're not going to start your day hungry. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Summary:
For about a hundred bucks a night, the location and accommodations can't be beat.
P.S. The toilets are fun. 😉

Jonna Mon 01/03/2017 14:44Very nice hotel! The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are great, the beds are so comfortable. The staff is so friendly and always willing to help. Highly recommend this hotel. The fitness center is very small though.
