tobiaso423on 04/06/2017 17:20The Capri Inn is a gem. In fact, the name is a bit misleading - "Capri Home" would be much more appropriate ;)
Its location could not be better: just a short stroll from Marina Grande and opposite a very nice, clean beach. The home benefits from its proximity to Marina Grande, offering good transportation options to Capri and Anacapri. Most of the time, we simply walked the 20 minutes to Capri and back. We even took the 800 stairs from Anacapri down to Capri Inn.
Rooms are very clean, but have very thin walls. We usually sleep with windows open, which is not really recommended for most places in Southern Italy, where scooters and cars keep you from sleeping the whole night. I reckon you get used to it after some time, though.
The balcony was nice to dry beach shorts, bikini and towels, or to enjoy a glass of wine.
Bea is a great host and always happy to assist. I had to do jump on a Skype call one day and she really made sure the Internet connection (which is not the fastest) was up and running properly. After my call, she served iced Limoncello and wafers on the terrace - just perfect to relax after work.
Breakfast was another highlight: muesli, fresh fruit & juice, yoghurt, salumi, cheese and the typical complements (jam, butter). What could be improved is the coffee, which one would not expect to be prepared in a capsule machine in the land of Espresso.
We really enjoyed to relax on the terrace that offers sun chairs and umbrellas. Not sure though, if the only two umbrellas meet the demand in peak season.

Hint: Buy a freshly prepared sandwich at Salumeria da Aldo and head to the beach. Or, get your Italian deli and a bottle of Aglianico from the close-by supermarket (5 minutes from the Inn, on the main road to Capri) and enjoy your dinner on the Capri Inn's luxurious terrace (Bea will happily provide you with plates and cutlery) - there's really not more you could ask for.
Perfect retreat
on 03/06/2017 13:13Stayed here for one night. Wish we had booked for longer! Great location close to the harbour and few steps away from the public beach. Excellent service. Beware if bringing heavy luggage as need to take it up 2 flights of stairs but worth it for the excellent room and view to wake up to for a reasonable price. Bus stop right outside but worth taking the bus from the harbour as always packed by time gets to the b&b. Nice shared terrace above with view of the harbour. Good breakfast. Can't wait to stay here again!
Great location if staying near Marina Grande
Andvivon 29/05/2017 18:55Very efficient check-in and clean modern decor in conveniently located b&b. Also has good continental breakfast options. Only downside is steep walk up hill to the premises and the accommodation is on the 2nd floor (no lift).
