Better each time
Iris Mon 09/04/2017 10:42Don't let the outside fool you. It's an older motel with huge renovations. The rooms are very roomy and modern. All linens like new. Fluffy towels, good bed and bedding. The room has microwave, fridge, coffee pot. Table and chairs to dine at,in my room
These people are working so hard to make this nice. Also the owners are really wonderful, and can't do enough to accommodate you. You do not get any of these extras at motel 6. They don't even put a box of kleenex in your room. The rates here are considerably less. The things people complained about, no longer exist. I will always stay here when in area.
Not a place to stay
40traveler2015on 08/03/2017 18:14Relied on other Trip Advisor reviewers. I don't know what they expected, but I will never book a room here. First, they put me in a smoking room when I had booked non-smoking. Moved me to another room where the heat didn't work - just a space heater sitting on top of the microwave. TV didn't work. Towels were a dingy grey, I do think they started out white, but are no longer clean looking. I didn't stay. The only good thing about this stop was no trouble cancelling my reservation and an immediate refund to my credit card. Try the fairly new Motel 6. Far better than the Capri.

Iris Mon 27/11/2016 23:54This is an older mom and pop motel. Rooms are clean,spacious and redone. New carpet, fresh paint, microwave, fridge,coffee maker. Alot more then motel 6 gives you and cheaper. Love outside entrance. Pull right up to door. Will definitely be back.
Okay for the money.
Patricia Mon 18/06/2016 23:03The Motel is old, but the room was clean and the bed and pillows were good. Air worked fine and it was a quiet location. Town of Avoca is a nice little town and has several restaurants, gas stations and a Dollar General. I would stay there again.
Great value for the money
MagdalenaDXBon 25/07/2015 21:09We stayed in Capri for one night only but we were taken by super friendly welcome by the Indian owner. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Usual basic equipment does the job just fine. Good location, large car park, nearby gas station. Do not follow advice to eat in the restaurant on the top of the hill- food was terrible (except for pretty ace chili con-carne).
