Decent B&B aiming to please
OrlandoCycliston 21/06/2017 00:28Need to be able to climb some hard staircase for breakfast. If you stay across the street at the house, you need to climb up and down both the house staircase and the main B&B. Most B&B's in the area are very old, restored homes probably from the mid 1800's to early 1900. Rooms are large and very adequate with updated A/C, TV, Wi-Fi and other amenities. No pool or hot tub on premises. Innkeeper was very helpful and willing to drive us to winery/dinner.
Wonderful Anniversary Getaway
abelvalon 19/06/2017 15:36Brant and his staff are very attentive and polite. The room was just what we needed, the courtyard was beautiful and inviting and the breakfast was amazing. A wonderful value! We will definitely be back again in the future.
Perfect Anniversary Getaway
missourifarmchickon 18/06/2017 15:46I'm so glad we found this gem in Herman! We couldn't have found a better B&B to celebrate our 39th anniversary! We were looking for someplace to rest and relax... we found it! The room was nice but not the best part. The owner, Brant's, hospitality was above any other we've ever experienced! Al and Mary were equally welcoming, and WOW, their breakfast both mornings were works of art and DELICIOUS! The special touches were delightful... home-baked cookies, courtyard atmosphere, Friday evening brats, live music and delicious breakfast. Brant recommended a great place to eat our anniversary meal and we loved it! We enjoyed meeting other couples staying at the inn! We will definitely be back to Captain Wohlt Inn! My husband and I enjoyed every second of our visit to Herman and this B&B!

Julie Lon 12/06/2017 22:35We thoroughly enjoyed the Captain Wohlt Inn! Brandt was a terrific innkeeper with knowledge of the area and willing to help. We loved the accommodations and breakfast was spectacular! The outside seating area was beautiful and easy to walk to many locations from the inn.
Riding the Katy
maja0204on 12/06/2017 00:19My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights during our bike ride on the Katy Trail. There were fresh cookies (especially welcome when we arrived the first day), our bed was very comfortable, and breakfasts were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay!
