I stayed here during May 2017 and found myself being fairly disappointed. I wasn't expecting too much because of the room price per night. All the decor and finishes in the room are old, seriously old and needs to be replaced to bring it into the 21st Century. I doubt it will happen anytime soon, but i'll still mention it. Having said that, the place is kept clean and the room is serviced. Wifi signal is pretty weak in the room, which is problematic in my opinion. As i said, this is the 21st Century. I took the room and breakfast option when i made the booking, but breakfast was a real disappointment. Limited and poor selection with little in the way of good service. I survived the experience, but don't think i will be back there in a hurry. Ultimately i guess it's a case of you ..." you get's what you pays for! " :-)
Poor customer service makes for an unpleasant stay

The room was good, but the customer service at the hotel was atrocious. The lady at reception was so unbelievably rude, I could not believe how abrupt and unaccommodating she was. I asked if they could store my luggage for the day when I checked out (because my flight was at 23:35). The receptionist after huffing and puffing agreed. As for location, it was good, 3 minute walk from Ya Ma Tei and close to shops, places to eat etc. Paid £57/night. For that kind of money, see if you can find somewhere else to stay.

Visited Hongkong with family and stayed 5 days, 4 nights. It's located almost on Nathan Road, very close to Yau Matei MTR, from where you can access anywhere you want to go. There's a couple of 7 11s close by, as well as Mc Donalds, Sushi Take out, a ramen and a dimsum store. The A21 bus station, the most convenient way back to the airport, is just about a hundred meters away. This will save you the trouble of having a long walk and multiple transfers going to and from the airport. The Wi-Fi is good. The rooms are clean and cool and spacious for HK. The staff are efficient and try to be of help.
Terrible customer service

I am a fairly regular customer and never have asked ask for accommodations. Since my flight is later on in the day, I simply ask to check out at 2pm rather than the regular time at 12 noon. The lady said no right away and the best she could do is 12:30 check out. I mentioned in my previous review that the staff here does not smile much and that has not improved. I am so angry that I checked out without spending the night as I will not return to this hotel again. The staff here should be ashamed of themselves for not providing any customer service. All they do is just checking people in and out. Anything else their answer would be NO. It's like a broken record.

This hotel is a great option for anyone traveling to Hong Kong. It is a 3 minute walk to MTR, many food options very close and two 7/11s within a few minutes walk. The price relative to value is incredible. The staff is very helpful, air conditioning is on at all times and for Hong Kong the rooms are very spacious! When I return to HK I will definitely be staying again!
Side note, I left my glasses in the room by mistake, and they mailed them back to me in the US, speed mail, and with an awesome case!! That right there is service.
