I am so happy i spend only one night. Is a 20us taxi ride from the airport and there is nothing in walking distance. Wifi was not working neither the credit card machine. The toilet was in bad condition. The only positive was the very friendly receptionist upon arrival and very friendly. For 80 usd I would expect something more.

If you are looking for a place off the beaten path with reasonable rates, good service and still close to town, this is the place. Hotel is 12 minutes or a $15 taxi ride from the airport. Industrial neighbourhood, with several grocery stores a few minutes walk. Room was average, matteress was worn but comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. It is about a 10 minute walk to town if you wish to eat at restaurants on the main drag. I liked it here because it was quiet, moderate room rates and different-i.e. not touristy. I will stay again on my next trip to SXM.

Large rooms, clean, good bathroom however the beds are not comfortable, probably it's time to replace the mattresses. If you arrive with heavy suitcases, you will have to climb two stairs. Wifi signal is sometimes weak

I stayed over a week for business purposes, the hotel has relatively low rates for the average SXM hotels. It is located close to Cay Bay and was a bit difficult to find, the best reference you can give when ask for directions is the bakery located next to the hotel. There is no elevator so take this into account for baggage or special considerations. The front desk is located on a second floor. Rooms are big and well equiped, my biggest complain is the bed, I struggled each night to have a good sleep. Regarding service the breakfast was a nice touch and is included on the rate. You can ask for a coupon if leaving the hotel before 7:30 am, the bakery is open and has good sandwich selection. The front desk helped me to coordinate laundry at an affordable price so that was a plus.

This hotel sure is "unique" It is in a sketchy part of town. 2 sets of stairs to climb with your luggage to find the office. Office personnel stayed late to check us in as our flight was quite late. She was very friendly and accommodating.Brought my husband a coke and ice to the room as rest. was closed. Had no blanket on bed only sheets so she brought us a blanket which looked like a rag as well. My husband didn't even want to use it. There was no hand soap or ammen. in the washroom, which was also very worn.
Room was clean but very dated and pretty rough looking. Bed and pillows were terrible. I was actually a little leary about even sleeping there.
Breakfast was included. I didn't even look at it. My husband went to get a coffee. It was instant.
We just needed something for 1 night. Flew in late and didn't need any amenities. Hotel was low in star rating. I presumed it was because it was not on the main strip, didn't have a pool or any view. Would have booked elsewhere and paid more had I known how rough it was.
I guess it would be suitable for back packers or anyone on a budget holiday.
