Location ok, the rest questionable
mkscwon 28/07/2017 01:15Older hotel with like a split foyer between floors. No elevator. Hotel was clean, sheets a bit rough to sleep on. Area was very industrial looking. But there was plenty of parking and the staff was nice. Very small reception/check in area.
Great room for the price and near the Caverns!

Not the usual Super 8....
Q6531JGlisalon 25/07/2017 16:08Have stayed in many Super 8 motels and this one was below standards....room was not vacuumed, Registered with 3 guests and only had towels for 2! Hair dryer was broken, advertized a pool - it was not working...breakfast was very poor. Guest receptionist had no personality. Just asking for extra towels and hair dryer seemed too much. Not impressed.....
Super 8? Try LOUSY 8
987maxoon 25/07/2017 02:15When we first pulled in I thought "wow, not a bad deal" as the hotel looked rather promising. However, the girl who was at the front desk when we pulled in was chatting with her friend and playing on her phone, not really paying much attention to my family and me. This lasted for about 2 minutes (which seemed like an eternity) and then she finally got us checked into our room.
The room was run down and the windows were nasty. I couldn't tell if there were bars on the windows or if they were water stains. The beds were lumpy and squeaky which made for a horrible sleep.
Once we decided that we weren't going to spend much time in the room we went back to the front desk to ask our unhelpful attendant where we should go and eat. She was not there. There wasn't even a sign saying that she would be back in a few minutes. She was outside with her friend talking, laughing, and smoking. When my wife finally approached her she had kind of an awkward look on her face (kind of like "I got caught doing something I shouldn't be doing") and gave us a few suggestions. The town isn't big, she should have some more insight than two restaurants!!!
The next morning around 7:30 I took my daughters up to breakfast before we went to check out the caverns, and one of my daughters poured a bowl of cereal and asked for some milk. I went to the fridge to get it, but there was none to be found. My wife went to the front desk to ask for some and the lady was rude and told her that they were all out. She then harshly told my wife that breakfast started at 5:30 and we should have been there sooner. Really?! The sign on the wall said that breakfast was from 6:30-9:30. What the hell?! If you are going to supply cereal for breakfast then make sure that you have enough milk to do so. I was so fed up with this place, we didn't stay around, we took our kids out to a restaurant that knows how to treat people kindly and comes up with solutions to issues that may arise.
All in all this was a horrific experience, one mistake that I am glad to say I will never make again.
Filthy room
Tnorrbomon 19/07/2017 02:38This room was filthy. It smelled funky. The pillows were worse than a lumpy sack of laundry. The carpets were torn, frayed and horribly stained.
