Needs maintenance & better breakfast options

The room was good with a cultural mosaic feel and an amazing view. Location is great but the staff are not as professional as I hoped and Internet was a hassle to get connected as it kept cutting me off and had to purchase a few cards every time. The breakfast to the room needs better options and you need to tell them how you like your eggs, otherwise you won't eat it 😊

Old but still very professional

I stayed in Cham Palace on and off for over two months. Because of the lack of tourists in the country, the place is not getting enough clientele and needs a bit of maintenance, but it still maintains great quality. Most of the staff speak English, and if they don't they will find an English speaking staff to speak to you in a matter of seconds. I stayed in the executive room and found it to be spacious and comfortable but in need of renovation- especially the bathroom. The room service and laundry were also good. The only issue I had was in their salon however the reception apologized for the bad experience I had. If I were to stay in a hotel again in the city, this would be the choice given its location, value for money and service.

l couldn't help but love this place! Yes its old but for me thats what made it beautiful! Its not the kind of old that you get put off! I was only there for 2 nights but l felt it had all the necessities and was in a perfect location the souks and sweet stores within walking distance. Cham is a beautiful city and this hotel just reminds me of how beautiful it is whenever l go back.

One of the oldest hotel in damascus. Clean large rooms. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. City center. Close to markets restaurants and cafes. Quiet lounge with beautiful decor. There is a very good chineese restaurant. On top there is a syrian restaurant where it rotates and u can have an amazing view of damascus

Very old

Very old hotel, must have been luxuary many yers ago but now need complet renovation. Big lobby, reasonable servis. Very big rooms. All very dirty. Good location walking distance to old town and good price make this hotel acceptable. Payments only cash
