MaruWanderluston 07/08/2017 19:20I could not be more grateful to all the staff in Carlton Lausanne for the support provided for my wedding. I booked several rooms, I had to book and cancel and modify several times (so sorry for that!), and they have been supportive and understanding during the process. My (now) husband and I got an upgrade to a Junior Suite, and when we arrived all the rooms were ready for the check in (even 30 min. earlier), and they included for each guest a mobility pass (for free transportation in Lausanne during the stay). The hotel is SUPERB!!!!! It is farrrrr the best quality-price deal in Lausanne!! Traditional, beautifully decorated with so much class and quality, amazing services, excellent maintenance (difficult in such a place, with so many sophisticated items in the room), right next to the subway and 1 block from the bus, so in 5 minutes you are everywhere, including downtown, gare, lake, etc. Thanks a lot to Catherine, Carolina, Simona, Pierre-Hugo, Cedrid, and the manager of the Hotel for everything!!!! Thanks a lot!
PS. The hotel looks just like in the pictures online (or even better I have to say).
The very quiet place to rest
Mail2meon 28/07/2017 03:22The location is next to metro station - 20m away! As a guest you will receive free travel card from the hotel! We used driver-less metro line 4-5 times a day as town is on the slope of the big hill. We slept very good in the hotel, the pillows, blankets - were all top class.
This hotel is charging unjustified costs without approval. Unacceptable
rmenouxon 24/07/2017 23:51The hotel itself is very good, but it's unacceptable it charged the credit card "without any confirmation" from my side to cover the costs of an Ironing board that was already broken. Additionally, considering that the amount asked is nearly 5 times higher than the normal price an ironing board, I consider this unjustified and abusive charge as a fraud.. It looks like this hotel is replacing it's furnitures at the cost of its customers. Unacceptable
Perfect for a weekend of sightseeing!
Eliza Ton 29/05/2017 19:52Excellent location half way between the lake & the historic old town making both very accessible by foot or the nearby metro station. The single room was a perfect size for one person- with a comfortable double bed- and incredibly clean... plus AC in Switzerland is a huge bonus! The whole hotel was well maintained and I was very impressed with the value and the facilities.
Comfortable hotel in convenient location
145Carolon 12/05/2017 07:39The Carlton is located not far from the Lake, but it is a steep walk up to the Cathedral and business centre. My room was small, but very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Check in at 3 pm is a little late, but the staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel restaurant was closed but a reception person booked a nearby restaurant for me. Because I do not speak French, he was also happy to phone and ask for details on a place I wanted to visit. Breakfast was very pleasant and tasty, and included in my price. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel and would stay there again.
