What People are saying
Helpful stuff, nice balconies but all in all - an average deal.
Chris_Krakowon 06/08/2017 16:56The staff was helpful, though we had issues communicating in English by phone, before reaching the site. The rooms were ok, nice queen size beds and neat. The balcony is the best place to enjoy a warm night ;) Besides, the fridge in the room was plugged off and therefore warm inside - we had to wait quite some time before it cooled down and was able to store any food. Also, the bar downstairs had a specific mouldy scent, yet I personally liked that there were many football tshirts hung on the walls. Too bad we were the only people having a beer there - it was oddly quiet and the bartender wasn't particularly interested in having a chat (besides the necessary) with us.
To sum up, it was not a bad stay and if you're there for a short period, it's not as bad of a deal as well. 3/5 makes my conscience clear :)
It has potential to be better
Mihai Mon 07/04/2017 21:00Let me start with the good. The staff at the front desk and restaurant are very friendly. The buffet breakfast consists of cereal, milk, eggs, cheeses, cold meats, butter, gem, bread, juices, tea and coffee (espresso) and its verry good. The hotel is clean. There is outside parking available. Rooms are ok size wise.
Now the not so good. The windows in the room weren't properly sealed. I could hear the cars and trams like they were driving right beside me. The blanket was paper thin. Tv when off was making a weird noise so I had to unplug it from the wall. There was no shampoo and the towels were old, clean but old.
Anyway, I think overall its a good value for the money, but like I said this hotel has the potential to become better.
Not 4 stars, not even 3
IuliaMJon 27/07/2016 14:26We reached it easily. We thought it was a nice, cozy hotel - from pictures, but the room was very small for two people. Also, we have doubts about the cleaning service. I personally liked that there were dogs in the hotel, which means they are pet friendly. :) I think it's ok for a shot, but very short vacantion.
OK BUT NOT FOUR STARS
RajahNazon 03/12/2015 18:36We are backpacking around Europe and stayed for five nights. Quickest check-in to date. Given keys and tv remote, were "pointed" towards our room. Room was comfortable and clean, except for very wet bath mat. Mini-bar is an empty, large fridge, with only one wall socket, therefore; you can either have the fridge or tv on..but not both! Breakfast was adequate, were given a choice of cooked eggs on four out of the five days. Staff were friendly. Was asked if we wanted our room "done" on the second day. As we had just arrived the previous day, this was not required. Agreed to it being "done" the next day. Our room was never touched the whole five days! This we cannot understand, as the hotel was by no means full. Two towels for my husband and I, we also had to buy our own toilet paper. Unfortunately, a group of young boys checked in, the noise was unbearable. Complained to reception twice and also to their "leader", they actually managed to remove a door from one of the rooms. Not acceptable really, it is not a youth center, it is a hotel with other paying guests! Leaving on a positive note; near the train station and walking distance to the main sights.
So and so...
Carmen-Elena28on 13/04/2013 21:09The appearances might be deceiving. At first sight, a lovely hotel, specially inside, with an ellegant look. Practically, not very comfortable and not really proper for the 3 stars recommended. Very nice restaurant staff and excelent breakfast. Quite close to the centre and the railway station, as well (5-10 minutes). Disappointing services in the double room I had: no table, no chairs, no shampoo, no fridge, not very healthy blanket. I spied a little bit and I could see better rooms, so, if you choose this hotel, pay attention to what you ask for!
