Fresh & Clean Hotel
rvd_1on 25/06/2017 15:54Stayed here on a Saga trip 7-14th June, very nice hotel friendly staff very helpful in all ways presented in lovely grounds swimming pool a little small but OK, not far to the sea very clean bathing, you have to watch if you have booked a sea view because some of the views are blocked by the large pin trees, but still very pleasant views room lovely and clean, food nicely shown at meal times, but don't eat to late, all staff showed great care in there approach to guest, so on the whole a very good stay, only thing is you are a bit of a downer is you are way out off town but this did not trouble us, there was a shuttle bus, Wi-Fi very poor.
A Bit Remote but Good Food and Great Service
RogerThornhill66on 21/06/2017 18:18We were part of a group that were booked into the hotel a week before the official start of the Summer season. So we benefitted from a pleasantly quiet and underoccupied hotel. But even despite our somewhat unexpected arrival, everything was in order and the service from all the staff was, without exception, excellent. The room was comfortable, just about up to four star standard, but we were fortunate in that we were allocated one with a prime sea view. Some of our fellow travellers told us that the sea views from theirs were somewhat enclosed by side walls. The food was varied and well-prepared. The setting is most attractive, with plenty of opportunity for agreeable walks in the surrounding forest. A little remote from Rab town, but the hotel arranges shuttle buses. The only snag is that we found wifi access to be intermittent and somewhat slow.
Clean, good food, nice location
onutzaaon 22/09/2016 08:28Positive: Clean hotel. Diverse food in the morning and evening. Very nice location on the beach. Very quite since it is isolated by the forest. Very nice personnel.
Negative: Some rooms which are located above the restaurant are noisy starting 6 in the morning. Bad WiFi. Not a big choice of food for lunch in the restaurant on the beach.
Paradise found
John Christian Fon 13/09/2016 12:04We were looking for a nice way to end a great holiday in Croatia. We thought Rab island looked promising, and we checked in Hotel Carolina just to stay a little away from the main tourist drag while still having easy access to the sites Rab had to offer. Well, long story short, we did not move once in three days. We spent our time walking around the park surrounding the hotel, checking out the tiny inlets and rocky beaches, enjoying the Mediterranean woods and the occasional beach bar nestled in improbable locations along the paths. The hotel offers great panoramic views from the rooms (the higher the better)a great buffet for breakfast and dinner, and a lovely swimming pool mostly used for photo ops, since the Adriatic is much nicer. Eventually we decided to give the rest of the island another shot...next year.
Family relaxation with all you need
Marian Don 28/07/2016 19:37This was my 2nd visit to Rab / Suha Punta and this time we choose Carolina hotel for our family vacation ( last time we tried Eva, located near by, but only 2 stars ).
He had an apartment on 1st floor and I was really surprised with room size and we get extra living room which was nice. Every room has own balcony with the sea view. Apartment was nice, simple organized, clean, we had safety box as well and the minibar. In the bathroom you had plenty space and towels we changed every 2nd day.
During our stay we had half board - morning and evening you have a buffet choice - really rich choice for everybody - there was always some fish, pasta, soup, meat meal for dinner, choice of fruits and of course ice cream. Hotel staff was very kind, helpful, they give us good recommendation what to visit near by.
Hotel has a small swimming pool for kids and below hotel is restaurant where you can go for lunch - find when do they have sea stuff on grill - recommended.
You can park your car on hotel parking lot, it was full al the time, probably because of high season.
There is free hotel WiFi, but i really recommend to hotel owners to do something with quality and connections, i believe for 4 star hotel nowadays is must.
We will come back here for sure.
