Nice place to stay
nastyamamaon 09/08/2017 18:03We chose this place because of its comfortable location, which is not far from the Colosseum and at the same time, close to the railway station - Roma Termini. Also it had a high rating on booking.com
We liked:
- the location;
- comfortable room;
- new bathroom;
- calm courtyard;
- the hotelier gave us a chart with sights marked.
We did not like:
- the breakfast (a cup of coffee plus croissant - is not enough for a tourist who wants to spend all the day on move!!! So we had to find the cafe with oatmeal and pasta😂);
- it is impossible to use the lift without paying 1€ coin (but it is occurred that 1 ruble coin fits too😉)

Cozy hotel in a convenient location
Hara Ton 06/02/2016 14:24This is a perfect mid-range hotel for those travellers who just wanna be exploring all day long. It's nothing spectacular, but it has a good bed, a great shower and it even includes breakfast (coffee and a piece of pastry) in a small cafe down the street. It also has a safe and clean towels are provided. Overall, if you don't go expecting the hilton, you will be pleasantly surprised by how warm and comfortable the room is.
I would go back!
Close to the train station and Colosseum
Erik Don 11/10/2015 14:05Augusto runs a very nice hotel at a reasonable rate. The room we stayed in was simple but clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance of the Termini Station and Colosseum. There's a small laundry facility 4-5 doors down that was very convenient. We recommend Casa Cleo and will stay there again the next time we visit Rome.
Nice room, but couldn't sleep for the entire three nights because of crazy neighbors!
Katariina Don 23/06/2015 15:03We stayed at Casa Cleo (Gaia Sweet Home) in June 2015. The only positive thing was that the room was really clean, it had a comfortable big bed, a safe in the room and a modern bathroom (although it was separated from the room with only a curtain). The breakfast was a bad coffee and a pastry at the cafeteria next door. The building where the hostel is located is quite dirty with for example cigarettes in the staircase. Most importantly we could not sleep because of the crazy neighbor / amateur band upstairs with their electric guitar and loudspeakers. First night they started playing / shouting at 11 PM (after a few hours we asked them to stop because the windows where shaking, and they didn't), the second night at 12 PM and the last night they had a huge party until 4.30 PM when we finally went and asked them to shut up or we would call the police. The hostel manager was nowhere to be found so that we could of told him to talk with the neighbors. Overall, despite of the nice room, I do not recommend it. Btw. it's close to the Colosseum, but a half an hour walk from the old town.
