It was so close to the main train station of Florence ,it takes 3 minutes walk only ,the SITA bus to Siena is also close to Casa Corsi.

Roberta suggested a pizza house for me and which is called Leo ,the pizza there was so good and I went the twice during my stay.

Roberta decorated the room by flowers especially for my birthday!!

I love the free breakfast from Roberta ,she gave me a coupon to have a cup of coffee nearby her house, I love the croissant there !!but I forgot the name of the cafe ,I am appreciate if anyone telling me the name of the cafe.

Highly recommended!

Very close to the main train station of Florence, the guest house is a charming place that has its own garden and a comfortable sofa in the kitchen cum dining room. We stayed twice here, once in a room with a private bathroom and again in a room with a shared bathroom. On both the occasions we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was really clean, the room sizes were big and there was plenty of space and also a table to keep our stuff. the bathrooms were spic and span as well. While the view from the windows wasn't much, seeing that the house is basically surrounded by other houses, the flowers on the window sill livened up the room, and added a personal touch, besides. The garden at the back was also very nice and a great place to chill. Our host Frederica was a warm and friendly person who made us feel completely at home. She let us keep our luggage when we went to Milan for a day, and also gave us a really early check in the next day when we returned. We were free to use the kitchen and dining area and the sofa in the common area as we pleased. There were also cups and plates and even tea bags in case we wanted to make something for ourselves. If there's anything to note, its that the entry to the guest house is through a rather long dark corridor. Just remember that the light to the corridor is next to the door at either end and you'll be fine. Overall a nice and convenient place to stay, within walking distance of the Duomo, Accademia and Leather market.

Great little place near the train station - very clean - 3.5 stars really

I had booked the more expensive room that has a private bathroom, but I had a single room with a shared bath upon arrival. The property manager tried very hard to please me due to mix-up. She was really nice. The room itself was on the ground floor and the building has three sets of locks to enter. I had a single bed/cot which was comfortable and both the room and the bath were spotless and very clean. The building was old - so there was only so much you can do with it. The room did have a small flat screen TV, a wardrobe, small desk, and large windows.
I am hoping to see if the owner will credit me back for the mix-up - we'll see.
The shared bath was not a problem as there was only one other person using it and we did not cross paths.
The price was good and this is safe and convieniant for a solo traveler.

Quiet room in a family household

This is not just a room in a building, but a room in a family household. For me the best part was the large room which was very quiet at night. Rooms are nicely old fashioned but comfortable. Similarly, the ensuite. No one will enter your room during your stay so there is no cleaning or changing of towels. The household is on the ground floor so there are no stairs at all and it is well located near the station. Roberta Corsi, who runs the place, is lovely and welcoming. She speaks and writes English. The wifi signal to is good.

Great location, fantastic host, overall wonderful experience

I stayed at this place for two nights in May 2015. Case Corsi was about a 5 minute walk from the train station. Lots of restaurants, convenience stores and even a laundromat close by. It was a bit tricky to find at first but once you figure out where the Hotel Club Hotel is, it's not too far past that.

I stayed in a room with a shared bath which was kept very clean. The property was older but the owner takes great care of keeping the property clean. Lots of kitchen amenities and even a washing machine on premise.

The only complaint I have is that the bed was a bit outdated and I could start to feel the springs. The wifi was strong in the common area but as I had a room that was further away, signal was weak. Aside from that, everything was wonderful.
