It's in a beautiful garden, with nice pool (though relatively small) and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had booked for 3 nights, but on arrival realized that there was no air conditioning (my fault for not noticing) but it was freakishly hot (nearly 40 degrees) and the room was quite small with no fan or balcony. The guy at reception was so helpful and changed my booking in the system from 3 nights to 1 night. He wasn't grumpy or offended and continued to be really friendly for the rest of our stay. The bar and restaurant was lively in the evening and we sat otuside for a drink which was nice.
Bad luck with extremely warm weather; no air-con, also about 10 min drive to nearest big place for bars and restaurants. Because it was so hot we didn't feel like walking so there is not much else to do there. If you want a really peaceful place and don't mind having to drive to restaurants, then it is a good place. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it was really busy and looked good.

Returned after several years and it was a real joy to be back. The place, the setting and the people are just something truly special. It is very well located to a lot of great things to do and see. Thanks to the entire staff -- literally everybody -- that made the stay so nice. Until next time because no hay dos sin tres! :)

Very quite and beautiful enviroment, close to Covadonga and Cangas de Onis. Good service and facilities. Great for couples and families, very relaxing and quite surroundings. All this for a very good price.

This was a good hotel for our overnight stay early in May. It's a bit hard to find since you have to drive across a very narrow bridge but there are signs. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was simple and good, with all you would expect in a continental breakfast, including fresh bread and pastries.
The best part of our stay was the local information given to us by Mercedes - she supplied a map of the area and gave us good information about what to see in our short time there.
We would definitely stay here again.

We found this hotel was a great base for hiking in the beautiful Picos National park. My husband and myself traveled with our 3 teenage sons and as the hotel had a swimming pool and a paddle tennis court, these kept the lads entertained for the mornings when we went hiking. Paddle tennis is a cross between tennis and squash played on a smaller court with solid bats. It did cost 10 euro for hire of bats and the court but it was worth it.
The lobby area in the hotel was very comfortable and the rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was adequate. However, the staff were neither friendly nor helpful.
